You must have so much fun searching for all your vintage Christmas decorations. My oldest sister died from cancer the day after Christmas in 1995. I have an angel that we always place at the top of our tree in her memory. It's sweet that you think of your mother when choosing your treasures. I think of mine when I sew. Oh 19 such a tender age to lose Mom. My dad passed when I was 18 but I had my mom till almost my 50th bday. Sending hugs to you. I totally get it ❤️

My grandma has the winking Santa in the background of your white bookshelf! It’s a classic decoration I always associate with her and visiting her home at Christmas.
All very nice. My grandparents had the window candle wreaths and the bubble lights. My mom had the little NOEL train, which I’m thinking cams from Home Interior. Love the vintage boxes too.

....I have those cellophane wreaths ..one for each front window and I light mine ...I do examine the wiring often ...they belonged to my husbands grandmother...love all your Santa’s and sleighs.....all is beautiful and sentimental...I remember the use of all those items , from my childhood...it’s such a magical time for a child , but , we always want to teach them the reason for the season ....love the trains .

Just lovely Nicole. I grew up in the 60s and my mom was all about modern things. I kid you not, one year we had a light pink flocked christmas tree with hot pink lights and ornaments. The next year she switched to blue! Lol. My Christmas decor is entirely like my grandmother's. I have a lot of her items. I've been collecting for over 40 years. They still bring a smile to my face when I unpack them. Stay safe🎄

A few years back, I found a old box of old bubble lights unused. They were my favorite lights when I was a little girl. I never take out of the box so that I can keep them in pristine condition. Love your cozy Christmas home.
To sit and look at a decorated tree, is good for the soul and blood pressure. I do the same thing.

Nicole, I love the way you have arranged all of your vintage collections. I have several items that belonged to my grandmother, including her aluminium tree, with color wheel. I have 3 children and bought them an ornament each year until they were 19 or so. Now we have 9 grand kids and 4 great grand kids. I have bought them an ornament each Christmas. The oldest grand daughter turned 21 this year so she didn't get one, but we've had 2 new great granddaughters born this year. The youngest was born last Wednesday. Needless to say I have put up 3 trees this year.

73 from Birmingham Alabama says your home is lovely. We had those cellophane wreath I was a very little girl! I was born in 1947 so they are definitely 40s and 50s. Brought back sweet memories my mom and me decorating. Later on in the sixties we had a silver Christmas tree and then to top it off a flocked silver Christmas tree! Wow! I watch you all the time you and your family give me much pleasure as I don't get out very often. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

When my sister and I were growing up, as long as I can remember, my granny and mom would always leave a spot under the Christmas tree with a pillow and throw and almost every night we would lay under the tree and just look up through there. My sister and I did the same with our children.

Everything looks amazing and love all the vintage items The vignettes are so creative. I do have a soft spot for those ceramic trees. I have one that I made using a mold and liquid slip. I guess it is approx 30 years old. I also have the bulbs and the birds on my tree as well.

Oh Nicole such a beautiful touching video the music and everything. I lost my dad on 21 Dec when I was 2 and my mum when I was 29. I didn't realise you were so young when you lost your mum. I'm sure your mum is looking down with pride on you and your lovely family. It would be lovely if you could get your mums music box fixed. There is a lovely program here in the uk called the repair shop where people take along their broken items talk about their history and what it means to them and they are repaired and you see the peoples reaction. Take care and be safe.

It so unusual when you said you were 19 when your mom passed away. My dad passed away when I was 19. I was such a daddy's girl. My mom was an extraordinary woman. I never knew a stronger woman. Although they were not my bio parents they adopted me at 6, they were wonderful. Your home is warm and beautiful. I watch u with your family and know there's so much love in your home. I love watching channels with families as part of the video's.
