It was recorded at the Studio Museum, Sandora, Budapest, Hungary. These are huge open-air sets. This recording set is called the "New York Backlot", inspired by the streets of Brooklyn. Jimin wanted to give the MV a 2000s feel. There are several references in the credits and others to songs from his album Muse. The love tornado actually happens inside him, as his heart anxiously searches for the love of his dreams, which he knows exists somewhere on the planet... At the end of the video, the city is peaceful, with no signs of the tornado.
Jimin did participate in the making of this MV. Honestly he participated in all of his projects in both albums and all of his solo projects. Like every aspect of it. He had it written in his notebook, the lyrics the mv the choreography the composing producing. Every aspect of it. And he does it in a limited budget like if you compare with other members, his are of less budget but it's hard to tell because jimin focused on the details so much. He blows my mind

This is an outdoor set in HUNGARY. They shot in freezing winter temperatures just before Jimin enlisted into the military. The concept for the mv, also the choreo, is his. Jimin is LEAD vocalist but that is the #2 position. The #1 position is MAIN vocalist which is with Jungkook. Jimin is the MAIN dancer. Now there was already a main dancer (jHope) when Jimin ws confirmed as a BTS member. Wait a minute, why did Jimin even join and very late too? My own theory is --- to fill jHhope's main dancer position. You see, JHope left BTS pre-debut. He has talked about it but it has never been revealed to us when he left. So my guess is, after jHope left, BigHit scrambled to fill the main dancer position. They called for an audition and Jimin was the only one recruited. But jHope came back. So what the heck do we do with Jimin. There is no place for him. The key staff in charge of BigHit's training and development fought for him to stay and the then CEO of BigHit Bang Sih Yuk (the founder of BTS) called each of the confirmed BTS member individually and asked about whether to keep Jimin. We knew about this because V has talked about it on camera. LOL. He said he agreed to keep Jimin and my guess is jHope also said yes. Because Jimin's shining skill is dancing they also make him a Main dancer. Something which is unprecedented in kpop because positions are created to avoid conflict and "fighting for the spotlight" situations, and there was never 2 mains because that will be surely conflicting and defeat the purpose of having positions. But it happened with Jimin possibly because Jhope gave his consent (he is dance leader after all) and Bang Sih Yuk trusted that his 2 mains will not fight. Jimin must have also imp[ressed with his singining because he was made lead vocalist. There was already 2 sub vocals positions then (V and Jin). So Jimin is the only person in BTS to hold a #1 and #2 positions, a heavy responsibility to shoulder. He has to work extra hard to train his singing and also to continue excelling in dancing. Jimin has never gotten vocal lessons because his position in the team was confirmed late and BTS was too poor then to enrol Jimin in lessons. When the other 3 vocalists attended lessons with a vocal coach, he will learn from them and practise on his own. Jimin went from the trainee that was almost cut to King of Kpop and he stayed as King of Kpop this year despite being in the military. Oh by the way, that staff that fought for Jimin to stay has been appointed as CEO of BigHit just 2 days ago. Jimin is the Jimin of the dancing world. He is crazily versatile, he incorporates martial arts and he has a grace and flair that cannot be replicated. Jimin can dance like MJ but MJ cannot dance like Jimin (no disrespect intended).

He was the last member to join BTS, and he was a trainee for the shortest amount of time, only six months. Jimin has also released three solo songs under the band's name: "Lie", "Serendipity", and "Filter". Jimin began dancing in middle school and studied contemporary dance at Busan High School of Arts. He auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment in 2012 after being encouraged to do so by his teacher. Jimin is currently serving his mandatory military service in South Korea.

Love your appreciation and breakdown of Jimin's MV, WHO. I liked learning about how MVs could be made, and the way you spot and point things out is so interesting to me. Yes, I agree that Jimin is so talented and charismatic, I love his voice, and his dancing is mesmerizing to me. There is a behind the scenes of the making of this MV, which was shot in Hungary. Who knew they had a film studio there. Jungkook debuted as the main singer ( main >lead in K-pop) and Jimin as lead singer. But Jimin's vocal tone is so unique and addicting to me. Jimin's vocals and dancing, is what got me into BTS. I agree, Jimin makes the best songs and MVs💜💜💜🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜

Loved your reaction, and you are right that Jimin's Music Videos are the best and coolest. His film sets are so evocative, creative, edgy, cool and classy. The story board and MV's reflect his artistry, his good taste and his deep thinking. He loves playing with lighting and color grading. There are always subliminal messages and treasure troves of Easter eggs embedded in the set of his videos. The man makes magnificent videos because he is an artistic genius. His MV's have the best beginning and endings. The main singer of BTS is Jungkook. Jimin is the lead singer. He is a main dancer together with J Hope.

This is an outdoor set in HUNGARY. They shot in freezing winter temperatures just before Jimin enlisted into the military. The concept for the mv, also the choreo, is his.
Jimin is LEAD vocalist but that is the #2 position. The #1 position is MAIN vocalist which is with Jungkook. Jimin is the MAIN dancer. Now there was already a main dancer (jHope) when Jimin ws confirmed as a BTS member. Wait a minute, why did Jimin even join and very late too? My own theory is --- to fill jHhope's main dancer position. You see, JHope left BTS pre-debut. He has talked about it but it has never been revealed to us when he left. So my guess is, after jHope left, BigHit scrambled to fill the main dancer position. They called for an audition and Jimin was the only one recruited. But jHope came back. So what the heck do we do with Jimin. There is no place for him. The key staff in charge of BigHit's training and development fought for him to stay and the then CEO of BigHit Bang Sih Yuk (the founder of BTS) called each of the confirmed BTS member individually and asked about whether to keep Jimin. We knew about this because V has talked about it on camera. LOL. He said he agreed to keep Jimin and my guess is jHope also said yes. Because Jimin's shining skill is dancing they also make him a Main dancer. Something which is unprecedented in kpop because positions are created to avoid conflict and "fighting for the spotlight" situations, and there was never 2 mains because that will be surely conflicting and defeat the purpose of having positions. But it happened with Jimin possibly because Jhope gave his consent (he is dance leader after all) and Bang Sih Yuk trusted that his 2 mains will not fight. Jimin must have also imp[ressed with his singining because he was made lead vocalist. There was already 2 sub vocals positions then (V and Jin). So Jimin is the only person in BTS to hold a #1 and #2 positions, a heavy responsibility to shoulder. He has to work extra hard to train his singing and also to continue excelling in dancing. Jimin has never gotten vocal lessons because his position in the team was confirmed late and BTS was too poor then to enrol Jimin in lessons. When the other 3 vocalists attended lessons with a vocal coach, he will learn from them and practise on his own. Jimin went from the trainee that was almost cut to King of Kpop and he stayed as King of Kpop this year despite being in the military. Oh by the way, that staff that fought for Jimin to stay has been appointed as CEO of BigHit just 2 days ago.
Jimin is the Jimin of the dancing world. He is crazily versatile, he incorporates martial arts and he has a grace and flair that cannot be replicated. Jimin can dance like MJ but MJ cannot dance like Jimin (no disrespect intended).

At the debut, Jungkook is the main vocalist, Jimin is the lead vocalist, V and Jin are vocalist, J-Hope is sub vocalist. Jimin has unique voice tone that loves by many professional musicians and singers. But Jimin's vocal technique was inconsistent but in average is good enough, sometimes very good and sometimes bad. Jimin never learn vocal technique formally, until he done his first solo album "Face". In behind the scene of his recording of "muse" album and live performances of some songs in "muse" album, Jimin did confidently. I think Jimin is the "it boy" because he has fans from all ages and all gender.

@@stargazing2628yes, but in KPop, the terminology is Main then Lead. You don’t have to be defensive of that for Jimin, he loves JK and really respects him, says he learns a lot from him vocally. Jimin’s voice is arguably the most unique and noticeable though.

Jimin debuted with BTS in 2013 on the song "No More Dream" from their first single, 2 Cool 4 Skool. He was the last member to join BTS, and he was a trainee for the shortest amount of time, only six months. Jimin has also released three solo songs under the band's name: "Lie", "Serendipity", and "Filter".
Jimin began dancing in middle school and studied contemporary dance at Busan High School of Arts. He auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment in 2012 after being encouraged to do so by his teacher.
Jimin is currently serving his mandatory military service in South Korea.
