    Can you take cuttings of this? We have some and it flowers gloriously here in New Zealand. But I'd love more!

      Most hardiness zones are 8-11, and sometimes 7+.

    Jeff- Is this the same as Wood Sage-- I see others making sage sticks out of this!
    Is that a proper use for this plant?

      No. You mean Salvia Apiana common name is white sage. It is a 4-6 foot tall erect plant.
