Thank you Tom for your excellent video. I wish that I had had this video when starting out many years ago. I shall certainly shall recommend this to those starting out playing the clarinet. May God continue to bless you. It was wonderful that you achieved your boyhood dream of playing in the great Boston orchestra. You undoubtedly put in loads of practice as well as having been gifted with such a great talent! Hopefully viewers of this great video be inspired to play the clarinet well with such a good start that this video will give them and may also go to see and hear you in the great Boston Symphony. Hello Tom, I know your video went up a few years ago, but I’m wondering if you know (knew) a man by the name of Jonathan Swift. Several years ago I purchased consecutive serial numbered Selmer Series 9’s Bb/A clarinets. They’ve been refurbished and actually I don’t play them much so they’re for sale, but I’ve often wondered about Mr. Swift. I believe he played in the symphony there. Thanks & great video!
Though the emphasis was 'it is fun' what touched me is how much love you conveyed in your presentation. Thank you.

A very good share for beginning clarinetists.
Thanks for the insight. In the Caribbean, I always need cork grease.
Very instructive thanks for sharing

Very nice! I used to play with Bill H. in the Spoleto Festival for a bunch of years before he got into Boston Symphony.
Very nice 👏🏽👏🏽
What about plastic reeds? The ones that start out a reed and the get a coat of plastic in certain places or overall. Thanks.
👏🏼👏🏼
Sounds great, Tom! Did you make the reed for this recording? Do you play on only "hand-made" reeds or do you switch back and forth?
He pulled it out the Vandoren Blue box
