Every time we have tried to do a ginger bread house ourselves, the house comes broken so we just usually cover the pieces in icing and the goodies that come with it and eat them like a regular cookie. At least you tried 😂😂
For the past three years, my grandma and I have been Gingerbread house decorating, but before that, we never did. I believe most American families try it once, and either they love or hate it... We make ours from Graham crackers. Next year I'm going to make my own dough. We start in the middle of December sometime, and it takes use like 6 hours to complete the decorating to our satisfaction.
One dude with Tourette’s i watch, is covered in tattoos and he just says he can feel when a tik is coming on so he just tells the tattoo artist to stop while he tiks and then he’ll carry on when he’s finished. It’s as simple as that really. Would take way longer but it’s worth it! And props to the tattoo artist for having patience like that!
Kim looks like a very good friends and you look at her with so much affection, I'm so happy for u to have so much support around u! (sorry if my English was bad I'm tried my best I'm a French girl) I want lot of more video!
From The States, Never made one. They come in kits every holiday season. Some of them houses or trains, or other random Christmas things. They always seem to be busted and full of yuck candy/frosting U would never want to eat so we never did it. No regrets. So happy to see all Ur vids of U doing things. I love the new Pickle tic and always love the door knocking. Even a gingerbread house gets a knock. Stay positive. So healthy/safe. Love U girlie. So glad U have so many good people in Ur life and around U. ♡
The one time I ever made a little gingerbread house I made everything from scratch using the recipes from a Wilton kit that had the cookie cutters to make it. I remember the Royal icing recipe had meringue powder in and dried to be like cement. I brought it to a friend's house to share and I'm not sure if we ate any of it but one friend had to use his combat boot to stomp on the house, after covering it with a teatowel & plastic bag, to get small enough pieces for us to try to eat. I think I made it the week before Xmas because my bf at the time was home from college for Winter break. Well, it was fun to make at least... and eat the candy while making it.
In grade school we made gingerbread houses from kit's like the one you used. Funny thing I don't know anybody who actually ate the Gingerbread house. I'm probably one of your older viewers being over 40, but want you to know I'm glad you are sharing your story online, and believe you are making positive change for people living with tourettes.
I'm from the states, people don't tend to really make gingerbread houses as far as I'm aware. However, when I was younger, my family used to take the 8oz milk cartons (small single serving milk carton) and make frosting and just attach gram crackers and candy to the carton to make a small single serving "gingerbread" house. We would do this around the first few weeks of December and then would eat them whenever we wanted

Jade and Kim are awesome girls! Love watching ur antics! Wishing you both a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Good luck with that gingerbread house, they're a pain in the ass to do lol
It was a nice house, before it collapsed 😆 I always love your videos! ❤️ We have had that tradition for the past 5 years on Christmas Eve, me, my daughter, my husband, my dad and a friend. We buy the kit like yours because l dont like cooking that much. It's always a good laugh and we always end up whit a wonky gigerbread house and icing and candies everywhere on the table (or in my daughter's mouth)!
I’m from the states and I’ve made a gingerbread house either once or twice in my life, I don’t know of many people who take the time to do it unless they have kids.
Idk about anyone else, but gingerbread house making is a tradition for me. Ever since my brother was diagnosed with Autism, i'll buy gingerbread house kits and we make one together every year. We don't eat them, they're for decoration.
I love watching ur videos. Always cheer me up. Loving the edited sound effects 👍. Jade u and ur mates see epic fun. To be fair I only ever made one gingerbread house. Think urs turned out better lol. I suffer with major shakes so putting mine together was like trying to stack cards in a earthquake.
I've never known anyone who makes GB house at home, but our local library hosts an annual contest, and a dozen-ish families make them to enter the contest. They don't use ginger bread, though. They use graham crackers. from Michigan, USA. Love the vid! Happy holidays, friends!

Gingerbread houses are big in the US, but from my experience it's mostly at Christmas parties or like school/work decorating competitions. And for families that have small children mostly. We all buy them from a box cause it's hard enough to glue it together
Omg why didn't I watch you sooner you really are brilliant and ur brother is so funny , keep the videos coming my son watches them on repeat he loves you ur keeping him sane during lockdown xx
I love your videos and I love that you can be so comfortable with yourself, you are amazing for showing people with similar struggles that they can be happy and laugh and enjoy life no matter what
Just want to say that I hate you feel you have to say sorry when you get a tick and smash something. But I am very happy that you have friends and family who are very understanding and patient with this. I found your videos a couple months ago and absolutely love the content you make! Love you Jade and everything you do!!!
Love the video, your friend is so amazing and that edit with the oh no oh no oh nonono "everything's not fine" I DIEDDD hahahaha love you and sending you a lot of good vibes and love from here in Ecuador ❤❤❤
My holiday tradition is to buy gingerbread kits like you had, then fight with all the pieces and swear at it until it stays together long enough for at least a picture. Then half-heartedly eat bits of the house over the next couple of days before it gets stale. Smearing butter on one side helps it be more edible than that "long life" gingershit they put in the kits. FYI, I put the structure together and THEN try to decorate it. That way it's pretty solid, and you'll definitely have enough icing to get it to stick well. Then you can reward your hard work by drawing icing penises and whatnot for decoration :D
I've been having such a bad day today, and this seriously made it so much better! I can't assemble a gingerbread house to save my life 😂 I just stick to decorating gingerbread people lol *side note, I love your hair that red 😍
Girl from the states here: me and my family buy 2. We decorate 2 on the 21-22 and the pretty pieces go into one to be decorations and lives until Christmas then "Santa eats it". while the other one gets to live for a day then we eat it slowly till Christmas (also we let the kids do the one that last 1 day, they like to eat theirs more anyway).
I like how ur friends are so cool with ur tics...I'm pretty sure if I had tourettes and I was ticking like that around my friends they would probably look at me like "wtf are you doing" lol
I'm from the states, Pennsylvania to be exact, and every year my girlfriends and I buy a gingerbread house kit and put it together. The house completely falling apart after Jade punches the roof has better comedic timing than professional comedians, well done!! Happy holidays!!
Well it looked absolutely stunning for about 35 seconds
10 outta 10 to her editor for adding sound effects every time Jade throws something. Adorable 🤩😍
The house finally collapsing at the end after beating the odds of even becoming assembled was by far my favorite part. I DIED! 🤣🤣🤣
The sound effects in this video are heavenly goooooood. Kim throwing the board was hilarious😂 Top notch editing👍

Genuinely curious how did you manage to sit still long enough to get your tattoos done? Did ticks happen during and make them mess up.
I'm so curious about this too! I asked her before in another video but there were a lot of other comments, so I dont think she saw it.
I have been wondering the same
She said she can hold the ticks in for some time :) also she can just tell the person to stop when a tick is coming
