Thanks for bringing back memories as I remember buying loose packs for about $5.00 from a never-ending display box at my Lcs back in early 90's... Never pulled the gretzky base but pulled a lot of awards, points, etc. cards of him... I still have them today, and they are in really nice condition... Ty for sharing!!!
"Greatest round in boxing history" ... Marvelous Marvin (Hag -ler) Vs. Tommy "Hit man" Hearns Look it up its a must see... I was watching it on Pay-Per View with a bunch of friends. 3 minutes of non-stop back-n--forth bombs and a few heymakers 😮
That's a great pack Tom, so many stars ! 😁👍 About 10 years earlier than those 1980 cards my friends and I used our 6 best hockey cards from our favorite team (Being from NH, we all liked the Bruins, so we played a tourn.for team picking order) I ended up with the Bruins and the great #4 - Bobby Orr ( He was pure magic in motion on the ice ) I almost forgot we were playing switchboard hockey🏒 🥅 and using 70'-71' Topps cards for the lineup for our teams. We'd have the cards to the right of the table with the with starting line & subs. We also kept stats for all the players and teams of course for the short season.... 20 games. We had a blast with that classic switch-board hockey table. It's definitely better than electric football. ( well, you had more control while playing it anyway ) Electric football did have its moments 🏈 Thanks for the videos and the memories ✌️😎
Awesome story! When I graduated from college and got my first "real" job as a programmer, several of us used to go to the arcade at lunch and play that USA vs RUSSIA bubble hockey game. Dang I loved that game! I wonder if they still make it?
@excoachwolf we had the basic home units... the good ones though ( no bubble ) mine was the Bobby Orr model with the players that could back-n-forth & spin very cool. I actually met him a couple of times at autograph signing they were about 10 years apart. I remember him as a pretty nice guy during the 2 or 3 total minutes that I spoke with him. We loved those switch board hockey games... theres a guy on RUclips that builds ( don't know if he still does ) custom stadiums that surrounds the game board. I think he had the old Boston Garden and Madison Square Garden... if you get a chance check em' out. Thanks for the message ✌️😎
Well, the sticks had no curve. That probably helped. Shots couldn't get to head height easily. And goalies didn't go into butterfly position very often if at all.
Nice pulls! I love that Fuhr. He was an absolute legend for those oilers teams in the 80s.
I absolutely love the hockey sets on the 1970s and 1980s!
Beauty pack! Hofers galore. Thanks Tom.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while HAHAHA!

Awesome post. Thank YOU for sharing! I love that I get to be 12 for 5 minutes every day! Life is good!
Like I’d say about Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Fred Astaire, that’s a nice batch of HOF’ers there! 🤪🤣
Heck yeah!
Nice pack! The funny thing is 6 of the top 7 PSA cards in the set are Wayne Gretzkys. No joke.
Of course!
Nice pack! That's a 2nd year Grant Fuhr card. His RC is '82-83.
I had no idea! Thanks!

I remember those 2! Hitman Hearns from Detroit was always one of my favorites being that he was a "local" guy!
I passed the Acid Test before you announced each 100% 🤣
Awesome sauce! Congrats! I did have fun with those autographs!

Jeri Ryan will be 57 next Feb. Still as hot as a Nolan Ryan RC. 💯
HOTTER!!!
Tri-Trophy Triumph!
What luck eh?!?!
Nice vid
Thanks!
Imagine being a goalie during the NHL's early days and playing with no helmet. As a goalie! How on Earth did they survive a whole season.
How did a goalie not lose an eye every week? Insane!
