In my books and in my ears, for years on end Johan has had the grooviest, I call it the best, Boogie Woogie signatures around. Sitting there like a rock, grooving the place down like Albert Ammons & Pete Johnson in one. Outstanding = outplaying artist.

BRILLIANT....as ever. Chuck Berry could NEVER do this the same justice as the Refreshments and with J.B playing the piano it cannot be bettered. I must have played this many hundreds of times over the past year or so, I never tire of it....and I never will!!

I am not near this good, but, I play Boogie Woogie on an old 1875 Story & Clark Saloon piano with the banjo attachment and damper bars on the high strings and it sounds out of this world, would really like Johan to play on it, would be the greatest sound ever!!

Usage
Not a music afficionado but seems to me Jerry was more of a pounder and Blohm is more of a player. Both very talented.
