That's an odd statement when she was willing to settle for Walter after pretty much begging him to propose to her on that trip. He was no prize at all and treated her like crap! I think she envies the fact that despite Phaedra not being as attractive as herself, Phaedra was still able to get an attractive man to marry and produce kids with her, yet she can't...why do you think Kenya is always making bitchy remarks about Phaedra's looks/weight? Kenya obviously doesn't have a personality people can tolerate for any length of time, that's why she always sounds so desperate when she talks about marriage etc..nobody really wants her. It's a bit like looking at a beautiful picture in an art gallery, you can only look at it for so long before you get bored and move on...the only thing I felt Phaedra was threatened by was Kenya's looks, but overall Phaedra is a happier and more fulfilled person than Kenya is.
