I really like those lifts, especially the part where these were modded from Lester to Stentorgate. Great video. And I love the custom announcement too!
TVC! Yay! It looks like the rare announcement for the 3rd floor was recorded all in one go, rather than just the "Marks and Spencers" bit. Ooh it's the same with the Shopping Level announcement!
Very nice lifts, these were originally Bennie I think 🧐 then modernized in the late 90s by Lester/PDERS, and the latest mod was around 2012. Never heard 3rd floor Marks and Spencers message before.
These were actually built in the 90s by PDERS so this is only the first modernisation, the wing of the centre they are in was an extension that was built later :)
Quite nice, the left one’s a bit bouncy in my opinion and they’re quite basic, but they’re alright. After some close inspection I think they used to be Bennie lifts.
Love the the "3rd Floor, Marks & Spencers" annoucement, and the "1st Floor, Shopping Announement"!
I do as well

Yeah I like the custom announcements too
Those custom announcements are amazing! These are so nice. Honestly prefer these over the old Lester's.
Yes these are more unique

Yeah they are completely custom

Lift stentorgate voice has a rare announcement on 3rd floor. "3rd floor, Marks & Spencer's"
Whilst these are very nice, I prefer the old ones imo, but that "Third Floor Marks and Spencers" adds up some interestingness to it!

Oh right. Thanks for the info

I love the announcements on these personally
Why didn’t you film the 3rd lift
It was broken incase you couldn't already see
It says LIFT OUT OF SERVICE
