Multiple Departments Responding, Glens Falls Fire + South Queensbury Fire, Rescue Call, 10-5-22

  • At approximately 17:15 hours on October 5th, Glens Falls Fire & EMS, South Queensbury Fire, and Bay Ridge EMS were dispatched to a reported civilian trapped in a machine at Lehigh Cement Company. Glens Falls command and Warren County Fire Car 4 requested Bay Ridge Fire to establish a landing zone for LifeNet due to the severity of this incident. A surgeon from Albany Medical Center was escorted to the scene as well. After approximately 90 minutes, the victim was freed and flown by LifeNet to Albany Medical center.
    **The clips of Glens Falls Police Units 15 & 20 are of them transporting the LifeNet nurse and paramedic to the scene with their equipment for additional medical assistance.
