Stability and buoyancy, especially in a rough sea or when stationary. Most Rigid Inflatables have their tubes out of the water for much of the time. Immersed tubes cause drag.
Fuel consumption must be high. Fuel level will drop so fast !
Similar pontoon styling to Stabicraft. Imagine how much faster it could go if the wasted thrust of that rooster tail was directed UNDER the water.
