I've been waiting for this bustier pattern making tutorial, because last time I watched your bustier top sew tutorial it turned out so good . Hope I can make one!! Once again thanks for the amazing tutorial!!
Thank you sooooooo much for this...haven’t yet tried it but this definitely looks like a video that will help me create something similar...thank you 🙏🏾
this is really good.. I've been looking for a real tutorial on how to make a pattern for a bustier.. It's really easy to understand... Thank you for making this ♥♥♥
hey, i just wanted to say that even though the tutorial way good to follow, i would have appreciated you to say why you did certain things (for example why you made the darts 3cm wide), because most of the time i didn’t understand. and now my pattern doesn’t fit my body at all, so i wished you had given a few more information so that i could have adapted the fit to my body type… but still, i love how yours turned out and i will not give up trying to make mine look as awesome! 🥰
Thank you for your feedback. Umm the waist darts are depending on the body shape. Could you send me your pattern and your measurements via email? I want to share some tips for fitting. Thank you
I’m soooo grateful I found you today…thank you very much for your video…could you please do the video on basic bodice block?? That wud be great help…❤❤❤
Hello love your vidéo!!!, would it be possible to show us how to draft a bodice as i love the way you are explaining step by step Please. Thans you so much🥰
Hi ✨ To make the pattern you occupy, I must move the waist and bust darts to the beginning of the neck and shoulder of my base pattern, is that correct? thank you very much 😊
Hi, I'm trying this video for our school after school activity Fashion design and i absolutely love hour video. Super detailed and amazingly well done, I just have one question. When i was doing this, my points (the ones where we divide our waist/bust by 4 and add darts and seams) pass my bust pattern outline line. And for the back, the slanted line we are supposed to make doesn't even cross my orginal pattern outline, and the same thing happened to a couple of other girls in the club. What do you recommend i do?
Thank you for your feedback Lindsey. Do you mean your new points are out of your original block points? If the original block doesn’t have any ease, the new points will out of block. Btw can you send me your pattern and your measurements via email? I want to fix it.
@@withhsaung462 Thank you so much for your reply! And yes, my new points exceed me original block. I will send my front and back pattern via email with my measurements so you may understand my problem better, thanks again for this.
Thank you for this tutorial. It is easy to understand and your bustier came out really beautiful. I love the fabric and color choices. Question: are the dart measurements (3cm) and the side seam reduction measurements (.5cm)standard for everyone?
Thanks for your feedback. No, they are not standard. If you have bigger bust and tiny waist, you can add 3.5 or 4 cm darts. And for large waist you don't need to reduce .5 cm on CF.
Hi, I wanted to ask, if I want to make it without the bustier part would I just need to draw a line across the top part so it would look more like a waist corset?
On the front bodice I want 2 sections so I cut the dart off. For the back bodice I can cut it off too but I just don’t want to. And the fabric I used is Lace and I have to add boning cases on the darts. I don’t want many seams and thick fabric edges under boning. That’s why I removed them.
Holaaaa, ktal disculpe como puedo ver estos videos con más detalles en que pasan muy rápido la explicación y si es posible poner la traducción en Español.. muchas gracias por estos videos..
For xxl version you have to change the Basic Bodice Block, the bust and waist measurement. Umm I think for xxl size the bust can be around 110 and waist can be around 90. And you must use bigger Bra Cup foam for xxl. Adding sleeves tutorial? Okay noted.

Yes, you have to move your original bust dart to the shoulder.
wow-- watching this renewed my confidence in my sewing skills, specially in my pattern making skills. thank u smsmsmsm

Just found you and although you don't have a lot of videos. The ones you do have are quality and top notch!

Thank you. I wanna see yours too.
Thank you very much this my first time
Love this videos ❤
Wow it's beautiful 😍 where can I get the pattern?
Love it
Thank you,so much.
thnx for the tutorial
is it a most to use bony ?
Hey I am wondering why you took off 0.5 cm on the CF for the front pattern? Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial
Taking off .5cm doesn't make waist gap. Thank u
Wow this tutorial is very clear... Thanks so much
Thanks for watching.
Please how can I achieve a cupped bustier with illusion net as a yoke, if I'm using the already made bra cup?
Hermoso
Finally ❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much for this tutorial..
My pleasure.
I should definitely try this out!
Hey love 🙏😘👌🇹🇿thanks so much..can you upload a basic bodice tutorial please???
I will do it next time
hi there love your tutorial just wondering if you have a list of all your materials that you used.
Very great tutorial, thank you.
But I noticed you didn’t close the big dart up, the one that was in the basic bodice.
Thank you. Yes, I didn't because I use this bodice block only for under bust panel. Thats why.
Thank you for this tutorial. It is easy to understand and your bustier came out really beautiful. I love the fabric and color choices.

That bra cup name ?? 🤔🤔Pleaseeeeee tell me iam confused 😕
Hi, I wanted to ask, if I want to make it without the bustier part would I just need to draw a line across the top part so it would look more like a waist corset?
yess
how did you draft the bodice pattern
Does anybody know how one would go about adding a skirt to this to make it into a dress?
Please try one. It will be so beautiful. ❤️
I would add seam allowance at waist level of the corset and attach a skirt to it.
Thank you so much,I love this.
Do you have a tutorial for how to make this bodice block?
I would love to make this but I'm a bit stuck, thank you for your help ❤
yes, soon dear.
Thank you so much, I loved it! Can you explain why are the darts removed?
On the front bodice I want 2 sections so I cut the dart off. For the back bodice I can cut it off too but I just don’t want to. And the fabric I used is Lace and I have to add boning cases on the darts. I don’t want many seams and thick fabric edges under boning. That’s why I removed them.
@@withhsaung462 i think basically the corset is generally made by removing darts off so the shape of corset fits to our body .
This is so helpful! Thank you a lot ❤️
Thank you so much I ‘ll try it and I hope I can make it
Of course, you can make it.
Very very useful. Congratulations💕
Thank you.
Thank you ♥️
hey! do you have a video or a link were i can copy the basic bodice block?
I love your videos!! Also was wondering how do i modify it so its a V on the waist instead of straight across?
It's okay. You can extend your CF line about 4 or 5cm and join to the side front point.
This is gonna show how green I am but, how do you know where to place the style line ruler to mark the style line?
Cela à l'air vraiment bien, malheureusement je trouve cette vidéo très compliquée pour mon niveau de débutante 🥴
May I ask how to determine the length of the steel ring?
Soo nice dear
❤️
Hi dear
Can i ask something?
The front bodice patern is looks diferent. Can i use the basic one?
Hey
Yes, any basic block you can use. You just only have to move the darts.
If you have any problems, you may send the email to me.
What a perfect video ❤️
Thank you.
There any place where I can find the base pattern to modify??
Love the video!! We want more!!!♥♥♥♥♥♥
I will upload soon
Plis también traduce en español :(

Please can you teach us how to draft a basic bodice pattern
Mam how many cms you hv measured fr the front shoulder dart???
front shoulder dart is based on your bust size. I used 7.5 cm for 90 cm bust.
How to draw the style line How far do we go down?
Hy.. can u share how to make basic pattern??
Thanks before
Hey! I'd love to try this out but could tell me how many meters of the cloth to buy for this ?
Only 1 yard is enough
أرجو الشرح باللغة العربية شكرا ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍
Tem tradução em português das medidas? Por favor! Belíssima trabalho
hey, do you know how I can make a front bodice pattern like the one you use? The ones that I find all have a bust dart
Here is Metric Pattern Cutting for womenswear Book by Winifred Aldrich
@@withhsaung462 is it the close fitting bodice block?
@@DGraziosif yes Close fitting block
Can I get the basic pattern?
How to make the principal pattern? :(
Traducirlo al español gracias
i wanna say that please show how to add sleeves and straps in these and how to make these in xxl version
For xxl version you have to change the Basic Bodice Block, the bust and waist measurement. Umm I think for xxl size the bust can be around 110 and waist can be around 90. And you must use bigger Bra Cup foam for xxl.
Adding sleeves tutorial? Okay noted.
xxl people dont wear it without sleeves because of armpit fat and arm fat and etc
i really like your work your fabric choice is great
Porque vc diminuiu a largura tanto na como nas costas, do molde base?
Reducing 0.5cm on each sides make your corset fit more and no more gap on these sides.
What if I don't have a bodice block?
I m gonna upload it soon.
Se ven muy nublados ....hay otra forma de verlos, por favor... traducir en español..si 🙂
hi! i was wondering, for asymmetrical breasts, would you recommend making different sized cups? or should they be the same size?
Yes, you should use the same size even they were asymmetrical.
Oh I wish this was in inches
Mam can you please tell how can I know the measuremnt of basic pattern
I use close fitting bodice block. My bodice is based on 90cm bust measurement.
Is the BP supposed to be centered on the cup?? It’s so off for me 😭
U can move the bust point.
Can I have the list of materials that you used?
In very first video you can see the list
whats the name of the fabric used for boning case?
It is satin
qué significa dart/ease?
After I struggled through the measuring, marking, and cutting, I would have promptly spilled that drink all over it. 🙄
😂😂same
what’s the BP? i’m so confused
BP is 1.5cm down from the bust line.
why u reduce 0,5 every side pattern
Because I don’t want the gap on the sides after sewing.
Can you do one using inches as measurements please
okay, noted.
Music is putting me to sleep...
Order me plzz
hard to follow tbh
I am trying to find something similar to this lace, but I can't find anything beautiful, could you tell me from where is this lace? 😭🥹
Thank you. I bought it from our local store.
