The cost trip to Takaoka depends on where you come from? From Osaka / Kyoto, you should take the Thunderbird train to Tsuruga and then transfer to Hokuriku Shinkansen to Takaoka. It costs around 10.000 Yen one way. From Tokyo, you should take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Takaoka, which costs around 13.000 Yen one way. Since it is expensive to visit Takaoka alone, it should be combine with other places in Hokuriku region like Kanazawa, Shirikawa-go, Takayama, Kurobe Gorge,... Takaoka is a small town, so it is always peaceful (empty) like that. We visited there on weekdays, so there was even less people around.
I am also from SE Asia (Vietnam) but currently living in Toyama, Japan. If you love Doreamon like me, you should also visit Fujiko F Fujio Museum in Kawasaki. All the best to you.
Thank you all for watching! See you in the next video: Visit Mirage Land and Uozu Aquarium in Uozu, Toyama
