People are calling it 'mid' but I truly believe this was one of the best live events simply due to the reveals they showed
It is mediocre at best considering they had 1 year to prepare it and it was an advertisement so they could have just done a trailer instead than delivering some non lore related things and it alzo shows no respect to Donald mustard and the story that he created

The people that got to watch the live event are so lucky. The servers went down for me and plus I had to wait a 30 minute timer just for just say our servers are down
Literally I’ve been trying to get on for 3hrs and everytime the I finished the timer thing I still couldn’t get on . I will try again now 😢

@@rednotxced5155 Chapter 2 End Event was my favourite event of all time. It was the ONE thing that redeemed Chapter 2 Season 8 for me, and Chapter 3 Season 1 was just a magical experience that I will cherish dearly. I miss it so much.

As someone who’s been playing fortnight since 2017 this is lame. If I was 7 years old I would want to play this, OG Fortnite was fun because of how simple it was, I am gonna miss it.

This is more like a halftime show than anything. Don’t get me wrong, this cutscene is cool and fairly well made.
But, it’s not a Super Bowl Halftime Show. It’s a game. It’s game that’s done one segment of one genre very well. Do whatever you want for your live event. By all means, make changes to the game. But, trying to be everything to everyone isn’t gonna end well. The Lego collab is a stretch, but kinda cool. Racing and Guitar Hero is a bridge too far. My gut reaction is the new game modes flop hard and this season of the core game is met with “meh” reception amid constant player base cries for a permanent OG Fortnite experience of some sort.
What is it with game developers and their dedicated, unwavering desire to do anything and everything **except** what their customers ask for?
They bring back content the community has begged for for years. It actually makes news. Memes are made. People were cancelling plans to play. Madden streamers we’re playing Fortnite again. And they only bring it back as a temporary event, then reverse cowgirl blackhole rift the OG map into Lego Fortnite racing Guitar Hero featuring Eminem? What in the clear and present f*ck is going on? What even is this world?
