In one word it's, Nightmare. I played for years yet never got good. I stayed away from PvP playing only PvE servers. I still got killed. If it wasn't a psycho murderer, it was a bear! Then, when you finally, after endless hours of play, establish a base of your own, It all vanishes when they do a major re-set. Your character, all your stuff, your base... gone. Still, I had many moments where I was just blown away by what just happened in that hell-hole called DayZ. A million stories. I haven't played it or any other games since Starfield was released. Hey Husk, get a vehicle running. That's a whole other nightmare with-in this nightmare.
I can't explain why, but this channel is very entertaining.

also i must say, these types of servers are bad for interaction. look into basically vanilla servers, dayone servers, zero servers for wayyyyyy more interaction. no base building and adventure only.

You should know, anyone who says they're friendly in dayz are not friendly.
Most serious players tend to not play on the official servers.
Best to find a well managed community server, which also has more possibility of mods and scripted events which encourage players to team up.
3k hrs in dayz it is one of a kind for sure.

Husk tell me how you did it. For almost 4 months now I have been giving RUclips my all. I have a schedule, I improve on at least 1 thing per video, and I still don't get any views. How the heck did you stay motivated doing this. I put so much time for 1 video just for no-one to watch it. Then I go watch RUclips and see someone uploads a vid with 300k views and I click on it and its not even edited and there's barley any talking. how tf does that get views but not mine? Why do my old videos get views when I half assed that shit, but now that I try I don't get views? RUclips has to be fucking with me. I told myself my vids are just bad, but now I think my vids are worth something by now. like I put over 400 hours of work in my subnatica series. (I hope that blows up when subnatica 2 comes out) My thumbnails improved, Like if I saw my thumbnails on RUclips I would prolly click the vid. I have also been working on making the video shorter over time to help with retention. BUT I STILL HAVE BAD RETENTION. I dont even have time to give my videos my all either. I can never finish the subtitles for my videos. The only video I fully finished subtitles on is my Ghosts of tabor video. But I had to work through multiple nights to finish it. How do you make subtitles faster? I spend 8-10 hours on them. sometimes more. Just how do you stay motivated please help.

There are definitely better servers out there than servers like rearmed and more modded servers. Karmakrew is good and official is amazing but official is quite hard. Good video tho! ❤

Hi, this was fun for me.
It looks like a rearmed server, if ur looking for friends in dayz I would reccomend an adventure server instead, these servers are usually kill on sight
if you want to talk to people dont play the super modded servers like this as they are normally for pvp rather than survival and interactions try something like the dayone servers
