Hi coastal, in Edmonton do I need a permit and liabilty insurance in order to fly in any park? ..insurance can be $500-$1000 per year...Gov't of canada and transport canada says it is not required! but city of edmonton says you have to show proof of liabilty insurance at $2 million in order to receive the permit or EVEN fly the DJI Mini 2 SE in any park...is this correct?..any insight?..I just want to keep the drone lower and mostly on my face for cool vlogging shots in follow me mode 🤔any way around this?....also on the NRC map there is a yellow circle near me that says "Micro drone operations are permitted" so if i film in this yellow circle do i STILL need a city permit and proof of liabilty?..or is the yellow circle already saying I am permitted and therfore do not require liabilty insurance? ....thanks so much for any feedback!
