ive pretty much binge watched your channel for the past 2 days! im left glasgow 25 years ago so its nice to see my old haunts again, your wanders around the west end and town are great, im listening more than im watching, on this episode around the 26 minute mark you apologise for walking around the same places all the time then make a comment about we dont know how long we have, that really resonated with me, im 48 years old, i had stroke last weekend, ive only been out of hospital for 3 days... but these videos and you patter have really cheered me up

@@license2chill Great attitude , yep hanging around house parties with people who care only about themselves wasnt a good use of my time. Stopped drinking in my mid twenties and got some really cool pastimes. Travelled all over the world and now own an extreme sports company. Thats what quitting booze did for me.

Just had to watch again, there was something bugging me all day but couldn't remember what it was. 17:57 that building opposite the Pavilion is where the world famous Glasgow Apollo used to be.
@license2chill fell into a state of disrepair and was demolished in the mid 80s. Then turned into that cinema complex. I refuse to set foot in the place. Still get a wee tear in my eye every time I walk by the place.
The people who let you just walk in and look around are getting free advertising and the people who are saying no are losing out. It is free advertising that works as I was in the city during Wednesday afternoon just doing a random walk about myself and went looking for places you have shown us. I must have walked past that Hidden lane hundreds of times and didn't know it existed. I found it and will be back there to spend cash. ( even if only for a coffee ). I can't drink these days or I would have stopped at the pubs you pointed out. The Inn Deep at the Kelvin bridge that didn't let you film is actually a nice bar and great staff. On my next visit (probably next day off ) , I will be tracking down the places in this video. Maybe select one to get lunch in. :)
