Thank you for such soulful conversation & explanations of Maghron La… the song with beautiful shadi vibes, fun music yet a great message is awesome and what’s more amazing about this episode is that we didn’t need a tissue box handy 😅😂 you were as pretty and graceful as always and Xulfi sahib was happy and excited from beginning to end…thoroughly enjoyed listening to both of you and wanted to express to Xulfi sahib that if you miss singing /performing, please go ahead and grace the stage by doing what you know and are best at…I’m sure there’s a lot of fans out there, would love to hear and see you!! ❣️
Another thought-provoking and impactful session! Xulfi is a messenger of hope and is continuously campaigning to change people’s perspective towards positivity through his art, because just like hardship and difficulty, happiness and joy is also a reality, which somehow gets suppressed. I see “Maghron La” changing the narrative around vulnerability as a strength rather than a weakness, which I believe helps people feel more comfortable in expressing joy and optimism.
Also, I think when people feel oppressed or powerless in the face of political or economic impact, I mean our news channels and social media is full of that, and this fosters their expression towards negativity. Perhaps in this context, hope, happiness, and joy might seem irrelevant or even offensive. I feel even in gatherings like dholkis or mehndis, the dance numbers and fun just seems limited to that event and out on the streets, in the bazaar’s, in our workspace etc., people appear more anxious, in stress, hardly any smiles. Maybe people carry unaddressed emotional baggage, which manifest as toxicity.
Thank you Jo, for channelling love and positivity. Your other name should be JOY, as you consistently bring happiness, positivity, and joy to the people around you. ❤🙏🏽🖖🏽
Can I just say first off that I loved the matching outfits - Xulfi’s fresh lemon shirt and you complementing him in your beautiful, bright yellow top! 💛 This for me was a visual treat that matched perfectly with the cheerful mood and feel of maghron-la.
As always, such an in-depth analysis into this fun song. So fascinating that he relates it to the various vulnerabilities in our society - especially pertaining to girls and women. Every single song that Xulfi produces has a purpose to it - how amazing is that!!
Waiting eagerly for my 2 favorites from the season - Jhol and O Yara ❤️❤️
Keep up the great work Jo! You’re a real breath of fresh air on You Tube for so many of us out there. 🥰
I think it would be really fun if you guys can play the watch the song together before start of discussion. Just an idea
Hi Jyoti! I hope you are keeping well. Heartfelt conversation, you and Xulfi beautifully explained each element of the song. This was the most happiest song of the season. Sabri sisters put their hearts out in this song and how they both carried the song it is commendable. Rozeo's skills as a singer we all know, his effortless switching from Punjabi, Urdu and English were so pleasing to the ears. The costume and entire set spoke the language of the song. Different musical instruments had been used in this particular track were so good. How was the song originated it was also very interesting story. Hats off to all the CS-15 team.
Jyoti you fully deserve the rights to continue with these episodes with Zulfi. Not just for season 15 😊… get that contract signed 😁
I’ve been waiting for this video and I’m so excited it’s finally here! Can’t wait to dive in and see what it has in store!
