Well said, every word Is true. Bournemouth fans said when he became manager he gets too attached to players who are shite and is stubborn. We deserve better
100% agree. I think this is Eddie's make or break season. The first season was a miracle to avoid relegation. 2nd season, a top four finish and CL football. Last season was a write-off through injuries. But this season, I don't think the owners will accept mediocre performances. Appreciate FFP meant panic sales of good players, but we should never have been in that position. There were players who should have gone long ago. In his first window, we bought Chris Woods and paid over the odds because our only striker, Wilson, was crocked. Nearly three years on, and we still don't have a fit striker. The right wing, never addressed. We get Gordon and Barnes for the same position but never address the right wing!
There are a lot of issues. Not strengthening in the summer was a catastrophe. Not just because of the moral boost of a new player, but it also adds an air of unpredictability because other teams don't know what they will do. We've played the same team and the same players for nearly 3 years, teams have figured us out. If Howe can't get in new players, he needs to change the system. Also Howe needs to stop obsessing with "bedding in" new players to the team. When he took over as Manager we were facing relegation. He didn't "bed in" any players, but we ended up top table! We need to let players play. Our biggest issue is the right hand side, Murphy and Miggy aren't good enough. Livramento is only good when Trippier is on the bench. We need.to strengthen the right hand side. And I think we should sell Isak, get a RW and a physical striker.
💯 agree with his "bedding in" policy. That's fine when you're winning games & have both Isak & Wilson fit but when you don't you need to chuck Osula in as we need a CF.
Bruno was on the bench for 5 or 6 games during the 21/22 season so he was doing it even then. Pathological. Good players want to play. I was reading a fan piece around the time of his exit from the cherries and it’s chilling, pinpoints his rigidness when it comes to tactics and a tendency to stay loyal to players who don’t have it anymore, sound familiar? It’s just who he is evidently. He won’t change. Over to you Paul!
@@TDM1165 The thing is we could do/afford to do it with Bruno. Was a Jan transfer of a Brazilian who played in France. So it wasn't just training or playing style, but a cultural adjustment at a time we had plenty of fit players in that position who were still experiencing that early boost from the change of ownership/management. Not the case with Hall last season and not the case this season by any stretch with Osula.
Unfortunately i agree with all youve said. And perhaps when mitchell said the policy wasnt fit for purpose the happy clappers should have waitied before going in two footed as it turns out he was right
Totally agree Chris I’ve had reservations about Eddie and his team for a while, the backing and unwillingness to sell on players which have had there day or are constantly injured has sealed his fate, Tindle is robbing a living as a set play coach, we are absolutely diabolical at corners and free kicks
Can’t agree more Chris. The only thing I’d add is that people keep saying “things will get ugly unless x” or “things will go wrong unless y”. No. Wake up. This is ugly NOW, it is wrong NOW. The club is going in the wrong direction NOW. Not tomorrow! This will be a poor season and things will get worse before they get better. Eddie Howe will 100% be out of the door if he gets who he wants in Jan and still doesn’t turn up the goods (contextually good in this case is getting back into the top six). I had already said if he got his signings and we were out of the top six by Xmas, that was that for him as far as I was concerned. Well, he didn’t get Guehi and we’re not in the top six, but how can we tell? It’s just all “woulda shoulda coulda”. For me, signings in Jan and no top six by season’s end = HOWE OUT.
@@rogercookcoukI kind of agree but I think there’s an annoying 6 month delay given that he didn’t get anyone he wanted in the window. Mind you, if all he wanted was Guehi, then how the fuck does Guehi change the fact that we can’t finish a wank? It’s hopeless Roger.
Fans are desperate for eddie to be the one despite us playing toothless football from the start of the season. What are the excuses now? There are none. Emry is head and shoulders above eddie. Tonali is wasted in eddies team, he needs to leave for the good of his career. We are cooked, 4-3-3 is killing us and eddie will never ever ever change. Eddie shouldn't be allowed another penny he is a waster. Teams that don't score, can't score, go go peices in the opponent's box deserve to be at the bottom. Half a billion and 40 points is a tall order. The saudis have no bollocks if they continue with this absolute dross. Our so called better players will be desperate to leave in January and who can blame them but more alarming than that nobody near the top level will want to have anything to do with us while steady eddie is at the wheel. Eddie out immediately
Totally agree with everything you say mate trouble is by the time we reach the Jan window we could be cut adrift from the top 6 i lost faith in Howe last season as like you just he just doesn't seem to be able to change a game when it isn't working
The club let the manager down with the last few windows…. I feel for him. However we should have freshened up the squad. Other clubs are capable of finding players that were within our budget that could have made us better.
Absolutely, your points are spot on. It's crucial to focus on team selection, and we definitely missed the opportunity to offload players who simply aren't performing. The presence of these underperformers has held us back. I really think we should have cleared out the deadwood when we had the chance. Eddie Howe deserves some blame for this situation. It's becoming increasingly clear that we might need to consider bringing in a new manager who can take us to the next level. Our current trajectory isn’t sustainable, and fresh leadership could be the key to revitalizing our squad.
Mumm-ra, haa haaa! Love it chris! I'm definitely starting to have doubts about eddie. Everything you point out about villa is bang on. Yes we had injuries but we never really got going last season & this season is going the same way. The biggest worry for me going forward is that the only player we are still being linked with is marc guehi. And if the rumours are true we are reportedly offering £80m, £15m more than we offered in the summer even though he’s 5 months nearer to the end of his contract? Eddie is the man driving this apparently but all of us can see that it's scoring goals that's our problem so why strengthen the defence on the limited budget we have? A right winger & a striker! Most of us have been saying it for the last 3 windows & yet we're still no closer to solving these areas! I'm losing faith in eddie for all the reasons you've pointed out. He’s too stubborn for his own good. Cheers chris.
I agree on all points. When you look at Liverpool, Arsenal and even Spurs! They have multiple players who can finish consistently well. All we have is Barnes right now. We have no goals from midfield, no goals from fullbacks, Gordon isn’t a natural goal scorer like Diaz, Salah, Palmer for example and Murphy is way too inconsistent. We massively miss Wilson’s goals Eddie (and our players) have all been worked out. Sadly nothings going to change until we splash the cash in a BIG BIG way.
Sad to say I agree with you totally and didn’t watch last 30 minutes of match because I was so distressed couldn’t believe what I was seeing .So sorry but you are right .
I agree with absolutely everything you have just said their, Chris. No plan B, terrible game management, i.e., taking off TONAL , for Longstaff. When Tonali was one of the best players on the pitch; not to mention Gordon off, for Willock. Another lost soul... Then, to make matters worse, Howe's interview at the end of the game was not a good look. He didn't seem bothered. His comments were very flippant. We, sorry you mentioned on your match reaction yesterday, Chris. Their were numerous times when the camera was on Howe, & I have to agree with your analysis. He looked like a man who had run out of ideas. Lost ? One thing is for sure, time isn't stopping. He must improve, " tick, tock "....
Mitchell got slaughtered for saying our transfer policy is NOT fit for purpose, yet he is 💯 % correct. The only players we should be looking at is 1s that improve the 1ST TEAM. we aren't at a stage to buy fringe players, 2 great LWs , not 1 player capable of playing at RW at premier league level. Transfer policy needs to change from January.
@philip244 Isak only got one goal in champions league, so I suppose he not top tier lol or does one goal make you world class lol, the team under performing because the squad is weak doesn't take away from the FACT, Gordon is a quality player, he arguably Newcastle's best player last season, Premier league restrictions and a poor summer window is what is happening , not the fact Newcastle have Gordon instead or Williams or Leao.
The criticism of the manager is fair enough. But I don't understand why the fans aren't harder on the players. Isak has been crap this season. Supposed to be one of the best strikers in Europe, but where's the end product? Gordon wasting chances, Bruno not controlling games like he should. I think Eddie's time might be coming to an end, I don't see a new manager magically solving all the issues.
Without even getting into the vid, and just seeing the title, I said the same thing to my brother after the Brighton loss. This was seen by realists. This was known and accepted by realists. Shame so many have buried their heads in the sand or have them up above the clouds. As Gordon Ramsey would say, you can't afford to be nostalgic about something that isn't working. From top to bottom we've been backsliding since the cup final and finishing 4th. Yes, after qualifying we got some good players in, like Barnes and Livramento, but the numbers/depth didn't balance or increase ready for a 4 front season when we proved we're not quite there for a 3 front season. Constant rotation in and out of pointless, and often free, GKs when we only need 2 solid, 1 potential and promote a reserve. Daft. Gotten to the point that a free CB was a top signing, but in total nearly 2 full line ups for a 4 man defence has been brought in, including LBs, yet constantly CBs are played at left instead even after bring found out. Not forgetting injured players being played to then be lost for 9 months, months into an injury crisis and a lesson not learnt later when repeating with Isak. Midfield. The right has been in need of improvement since before Howe arrived and that only gets worse. Full of central which is still pretty much pre-Howe. Only Bruno and Sandro, certainly of note, brought in for the centre. Easy to forget Gordon was actually brought in for the left. Only know how good he is too because of injuries. 2 forwards, 1 injury prone and out /far/ more than in, for 18 months. Brought in Wood for 25, loaned out a year later when the other two just came back. Sold 18 months after arriving for 15. No new forward until this shocking summer and what happened? Another "we need to bed in to be ready" transfer. When Bruno was given time to adjust, being a Brazilian who played in France, it was from a January transfer when we had more than enough fit central midfielders to do that. Not only were we not in a position to really do that with Hall (and why that transfer was set up like that baffles me) but we are in no position to be doing that with Osulu. We can't keep doing that because we can't afford it. We need ready players here and now to not only cover positions but to improve positions. We already have experienced Isak and Wilson out together more than once, there is no excuse for ignorance at any level with the transfers now. Then there's the clear issues at training level/use of what depth. There is no way that crisis last season was just bad luck. To much of a pattern/habit. Then came and went the summer window. Lost quality players, and moved on players for free we should have moved on long ago to free up wages. More went than came in and of what came in, shambolic. Coming January aside, this is going to bite us in the arse long term. We fail to make Europe again, goodbye Bruno, Isak and others. At least there's a high chance. Their desire to play at the top paired with the club's FFP books.
Patterns of play are still poor, once that "intensity" thing fades we don't have much else. I do think we were unlucky not to score at least twice yesterday but that fundamental problem remains. I said last season that EH must address the weaknesses in the side in the window, for me the issues were CF, RW, ACM and DM. Of course none of these have been dealt with and certainly weakened due to FFP.
Couldn't agree with you more 👏 I had my doubts through spells of last season, but obviously there were factors causing some of those doubts. Now? There are no excuses can be made that justify how P155 weak this team has been. I have begun to dread games the way I would in the bad old Ashley/Penfold times. The honeymoon is well & truly over after the Takeover Days, he peaked too soon over achieving with the squad in 2022/23 & part of last season only made it obvious we have the same problem Burnley did the year they qualified for Europe and were under equipped.
I agree with most of what you say Chris. I actual thought that Eddy had one more season in his war chest, but now I'm not so sure. For me the Hierarchy have severely damaged our progress and now we are looking to avoid the Championship rather than a place in the Champions League, Kicking out Mandy and Merhdad was a massive mistake in my opinion as they were the beating heart of the revolution. We spent well on players after the takeover but now they seem jaded and disinterested. I was opposed to DCL potentially coming in, but now I would take him in a heartbeat. I think we all knew Osula was a backward step, and that seems to be so. I agree we haven't got rid of the old guard quick enough( probably because nobody wants them). I just hope we keep away from the bottom three for the rest of the season
Gordon is a good player but he’s nowhere near UCL standard. I’d say Bruno, Tonali, Isak & Botman are that standard. Howe is making our top players look sh1te.
Agreed. The lack of signings. Paper thin squad. Where was Barnes, he has been one of our best players this season and deserves to start. The front 3 were tosh yesterday and the substitutions were rubbish even though there wasn’t much to choose from to be fair. Get a striker in asap.
Howe is fucked if he doesn’t get it right this season . If he does manage to stay on till next year and it’s the same old shite then he’s definitely gone
While we have not supported Eddie in transfers recently. But his recent history is iffy at best! The starting 11 not been strengthened only Hall looks like is a prospect. Hopefully Mitchell take control in January
I’m going to lose every ounce of credibility I never had and say I want Jose simply for the press conference alone. You just know he’d kiss the feet of bobbys statue or some such craic 😂. Thing is, I think he’d win us a cup. Genuinely
We dominated the game yesterday, I would rather play like that and lose than play bad and win, as it is an indication of longer term, theres far too much short termism in football and Howe is not in charge of the chequebook. Once the goals start going in and we can maintain the performance accross the rest of the team then it will be fine. No need for concern at this stage.
Players fault if they don't take the chances to score that we created, if we take the chances we created yesterday no one would be on here having a moan up fact.
Appreciate your thoughts on Wilson and his injury record. However, for 2 games we created chances and haven’t scored. I would love for Wilson to be available right now as the one thing he is capable of doing is score. Albeit for like 3 or 4 games before being knackered again. Maybe within that amount of time, Isak will sort himself out as well because at the moment he doesn’t deserve a new contract as the clubs top earner.
2022/23 has faded into the sunset! Howe no longer has the boardroom protection of amanda & mehrdad to back him up. Eales has stepped down & eddie clashing with new DOF Mitchell is a huge concern. The next transfer window is very important & we must get it right. If EH does leave in the near future, then we’ve gotta go all out for the next manager.
Another point - Guehi playing for us yesterday would have changed what exactly? It’s not defensively that we’re suffering, it’s the fact we can’t finish a wank. So Brighton scored one. So what? We should scored five and scored nowt!
On the one hand you can argue Howe has been hung out to dry for two windows running & he’s not fully to blame for what’s going on, on the other you could say that he’s being too intransigent on transfers thus the failure to bring players in over the last year. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle, a bit of both. The other thing I would say is the likes Isak/Gordon/Bruno must be surprised, maybe even shocked about the lack of ambition shown in the Summer & this is possibly why they haven’t quite looked themselves so far..
Edin Terzic is Available and his Team played Real off the pitch at Wembley in the First hjalf of the Uefa Champions League Dortmund just couldn't put there chances away
Good video Chris. Tonali must be on to his agent already, being asked to run around like a lunatic for 90 minutes. Far better managers than Howe use him as a double pivot or at least a deep lying midfielder. We have no one who could play as a 10 and create for Isak and insist on inverted wingers. Howe prefers work horses to technical ability and is obsessed with one system that was worked out nine months ago. Top managers pick a system to suit the players, not shoehorn them into the only system they know. Decent but limited English manager who has done ok, personally though I feel he is increasingly looking like he has run his race and is out of ideas.
I agree with you Chris starting to think eddie has been found out.not a good enough manager far to loyal to certain players who he will never drop.players brought in are shit we all knw we needed a good striker and a right winger.eddie needs gone sorry to say
i think eddie revealed his flaws last year, he's not an elite manager and he's living off the past. everybody slagged mitchell and the man is 100% correct, the transfer policy is not fit for purpose. bought a striker that he won't play and was all out for a bog standard centre half and wanted to pay double the price. we needed a striker, right winger and a number 6 for me. barnes is a good player but not better than gordon so how was paying 38 million good business. i don't know how long he'll last but will definitely be gone at the seasons end when we don't get europe, and we won't. the set pieces by mad dog are woeful. it's ran it's course with eddie, just depends when they put him out of his misery. can't keep living of what he done two years ago, he's not doing it now and we are shite. mitchell has contacts in france and germany, no doubt he will know of a couple of managers
My take on this is simple - enough with the sentiment, the ‘credit in the bank’ etc, that attitude will get this club nowhere. I will say that whilst I think Howe needs to go, it is qualified unlike with Bruce, where I would have had literally anyone but that idiot. Replacing say Eddie with potter or moyes would be disastrous, it has to be someone who can take the project forwards. But yeah, this can’t go on, it’s been evident for a good while now that EH can’t even motivate this group of players anymore, a great case in point the game v Fulham, you win you go top, and the subsequent performance sees the team sauntering about like it’s a pre season friendly
Lloyd Kelly is on big wages too. He earns more than Isak and Tonali. He's on the same wage as Joelinton. Sure we got him on a free transfer but how does Isak , Gordon , Tonali feel about it..
jesus. who was doing the transfers up to July? Howe and his nephew. it's all on Howe. the club (howe) had the chance to get rid of wasters (principally Wilson) and didn't. it's all on Howe that Wilson is injured again. as for WIllock - he's been ruined by Howe playing him when he clearly wasn't fit - he's lost his pace.
@tyneskipper bit harsh to call Wilson a waster when fit he's a fully committed goal machine and a real leader unfortunately he is made of glass but a waster he most certainly isn't
@@markwagstaff7209 he's outstandingly well paid for missing almost 60% of contracted games. he's a waster. he wanted to play for england and is more injured now. needs releasing.
I said Howe should have gone at the end of last season. Lovely bloke, but not the one to take us forward. Another issue is we still have some of the dross from the Chasley times. Murphy, Miggy and Longstaff to name a few wouldn't get in most premier teams.
Howe is to blame, he wanted GUEHI or NOBODY!! Why isn’t anyone realising this? This is Howe who didn’t want to sign anyone that “wasn’t the right player” - get this manager GONE!!!!
This is pure speculation, you don't know what is said behind the scenes, I wouldn't trust Paul Mitchell as far as I could throw him, and if it was true, then the structure needs to change, managers change all the time, owners don't, so they should be in charge of recruitment.
We have been after a striker for 2 years I’ve been saying it for years Wilson isn’t fit enough I’m not fussed on Gordon at all!! Eddie Howe has to go I’m afraid if we want top 4 he’s not lethal enough and to loyal to rubbish players
Well said Chris , I agree with everything you said . Lack of recruitment has bitten us in the backside and we're playing players who should have been gone ages ago . Poor substitutions and loyalty to very poor favourites is killing us . No chance of top 6 as it stands .
Chris would like the toon to go get terzic he still unemployed after leaving dortmund bring some freshness and new ideas to the team and will probably bring in some quality because of who he is, just a thought
Eddie is cooked, he's been found out and he looks lost. He'll be gone by Christmas. The whole team is regressing and the hierarchy will not trust him in the January window. A project restart will happen soon and the next coach will move on Miggy, Murphy, Longstaff, Willock and the likes 😢
Well I find it strange, Brighton, city and Everton have been our best performances of the season. Yet we’ve only 1 goal in the 3 games and obviously 2 points.
Chris, you’re right to flag up these issues - we all feel the same but a lot of us have moved on from these sentiments, as much as the fact they still remain, nothing can be done until at least jan and even that maybe too much. Look at the performance, it was better, so all we need is a better final touch and we could have won that game 2-1. I actually think things will improve in the long term. I think we’ll struggle in the forthcoming games against Chelsea and arsenal.
I also think that we need to look at going 3 at the back, this will enable both Hall and Tino, who is playing shite atm, to attack with more cover behind. It would also allow Tonali and Bruno to act as a double pivot, which Tonali is used to from his time in Milan, the front players will also have more support and not look so isolated
Im concerned with Eddie's substitutions, it was so predictable 65mins Eddie oclock Willock and Barnes in then followed by Longstaff around the 70mins. Im sorry but if a fan like me can predict every sub that means every manager in the league can as well, signs of being one dimensional and when we need a goal in the last 20mins NO WAY should we bring BOTH Bruno and Tonali off! makes no sense with these scripted subs regardless of the scoreline we are making these subs, POOR!. Dont even get me started on our set pieces, absolutely nonsensical and overplayed sequence.
I dont like it but I have to completely agree Chris. Murphy is absolutely Wank, can’t pass can’t score and blocks other players from scoring. So frustrating. Headless chicken
We ain’t getting top 4 or even top 6 without significant investment. The summer was a disaster with recruitment and stretching back to the last 2/3 windows. Eddie has done amazing so far but chasing Guehi all summer has cost us massively. Difficult to move fringe players on when nobody wants them (Murphy) etc
Why sack Eddie if he hasn't got the squad he needs? As you said there was a glaring opening for a quality right winger and central defender which never happened and NUFC sold Minteh who could have played there!
Howe is stubborn minded. Also narrow minded. Very. Also, what’s his problem with Tonali. It’s like he plays these daft mind games. He overthinks everything to the detriment of the team. Tries to be too clever rather than just getting the basics right. Why was Isak on as long as he was (or at all) if he was unfit. Why take Tonali off when he offered strength and technical ability and good passing. Why bring on Longstaff when he offers nothing when chasing a goal as desperately as we were. Why was Murphy on so long when he offered nothing. I’d have hooked Isak early doors. Looks uninterested. If it’s due to fitness then why play him. We have these conversations far too often about Howe now and I think that tells a story in itself. It’s time
Eddie Howe will argue he wasn’t given the opportunity or funds to improve the squad over two years. I think it’s unfair to lay the proportion of the blame on the manager
I’m also sick of hearing ‘still not match fit, managing play time’ it’s rubbish…they’re professional football players come on…otherwise every other manager would say that. Some of our players play lazy sometimes and it goes under the radar…we’ve massively lost our intensity.
I love Eddie. He’s done great for us, but if you listen to Bournemouth fans, they all say the same…he has loyalty to certain players. That’s going to cost us and I doubt the owners will settle for anything less than Europe this year
We are a mid table team with a mid table manager, two piss poor transfer windows are there for all to see, Kelly and Osula FFS really🤷♂️Tonali for me is the best player on the books but is stifled due to the shite he is playing with, Howe has taken us as far as he can it’s time for change and soon as we are nearer championship than champions league!!
I love Eddie and I've stuck up for him so much in the past. As much as i hate to admit it, i think he's holding us back a bit now. He's a top class coach but as a manager he's very much lacking.
I think that we are suffering as things are becoming stale. 2 windows without any big signings means that the focus and intensity is being lost. It is clear we were shitting ourselves over FFP so the handbrake was applied. We need someone to unlock a defence, with a trick or two, we need an Mbeuno not a Guehi, it’s time to kick on or all of the goodwill created by the takeover will disappear, it started to wain when Amanda left, the club need to stop the rot now as it looks like things are getting away from us. Hope January brings signings that we can get exited by
I thought Tonali was hooked as he wasn’t effective in the second half. Bruno was having a better second half, so that’s more surprising that he went too. Isak clearly wasn’t match fit. It could be argued that Barnes should have started in the first place. The bad summer is definitely showing itself - something went seriously wrong that we didn’t get a striker AND sold our promising young Minteh.
Eddies peaked chris... Got away with it last season cause of the credit in The bank chat... This season has been shocking.. Squad is ancient... No game changers.... They look unfit.. willock was blowing after 5 mins coming on.. Isak looks disinterested.. Taking Tonali all the time tells me eddie doenst rate him.. The barnes gordon conundrum needs resolved...
Maybe it was difficult at the time to move Miggy & Callum on when the transfer rumours were there... but I believe we missed a trick by keeping them and selling Minteh & Anderson. What I wanna know is how much of a say in transfers does Eddie really have? If it's true that he is loyal to players, then maybe that is on him. And maybe because Eddie's had the final say in transfers, Mitchell coming in has caused problems with his different approach... whereas Eddie worked better with Ashworth (there were rumours Ashworth wants Eddie at Man Utd). The fact we've scored less goals than bottom of the table Wolves speaks volumes. We've played some decent football at times, but Eddie needs to get a tune out of the lads ASAP before things start to turn nasty. Like you mentioned, Eddie still has credit in the bank, and we'll review performances at the end of the season. I'd love Eddie to fix things and us to win something with him, but it's not looking great atm. Then again, now with Amanda gone (Eddie was her choice), the board may just be thinking of looking elsewhere...
Well said Chris & humorous with it 😂 ... however there seems a morosity at the club since Amanda & hubby left .. it was a family all pulling in the same direction .. a serious lack of confidence from the likes of Gordon & esp Isak.. i do think Eddie has a ceiling ..possibly reached it & now in decline..
Big change is needed now its shocking to watch the game's no one can score it's a big joke what is the team thinking strip bruno of the captains armband it's destroyed his game of play the pif needs to stamp down hard
NO MORE TURD TO POLISH The set plays are absolutely dreadful. Burn ànd Hall have been the best players so far this season. I agree with you that Howe will be out at the end season. Tonali, Isak will be away and Bruno should not be captain next season.
I think the Bruno captain thing is weird I must say. The only thing I can think is that he wanted it & they thought Tripps was away which never happened. It's a mess really.
👏totally agreed with everything you have said. happy clappers just don't see it and moan when we have a constructive opinion. I like Howe but does not have a plan B, his subs are atrocious and not just v brighton.
@@MogMonster87 I agree but Mitchell was right, our semi-reckless spending (Miggy renewal, Lascelles renewal, Dummett 1year extension, 20m for Targett, 25m for Wood, 63m for Isak) are costing us now.
Well said, every word Is true. Bournemouth fans said when he became manager he gets too attached to players who are shite and is stubborn. We deserve better
You are 100% spot on FACTS
This man ever more nufc should be on the board ❤❤❤
100% agree. I think this is Eddie's make or break season. The first season was a miracle to avoid relegation. 2nd season, a top four finish and CL football. Last season was a write-off through injuries. But this season, I don't think the owners will accept mediocre performances. The right wing, never addressed. We get Gordon and Barnes for the same position but never address the right wing!
Spot on Chris. The sooner people realise your analysis of Howe and the squad the better.
I like Adi Hutter manager from Monaco and Marco Rose from Leipzig I think their managerial style suit our players.

Chris your comments are spot on mate couldn't agree more
100% spot on
Yeah, I had the thousand yard stare yesterday post-game too.
Sadly, can only agree man. I've said for a while, Christmas position will dictate whether EH stays or not.
Kind of crazy how often I agree with this channel with the amount of content you release mate. Can’t pick fault
Totally agree, harsh but true 😔
4 3 3 is athletics not football . Eddies found his level . Time to move on
Totally agree with everything you say mate trouble is by the time we reach the Jan window we could be cut adrift from the top 6 i lost faith in Howe last season as like you just he just doesn't seem to be able to change a game when it isn't working
The club let the manager down with the last few windows…. I feel for him. However we should have freshened up the squad. Other clubs are capable of finding players that were within our budget that could have made us better.
That's a spot on rant today, Chris. I'm still baffled with the taking off Tonali and Bruno our two most creative players.
Time for a big change Chris, great video mate
We massively miss Wilson’s goals
Eddie (and our players) have all been worked out.
2 decent LWs. Great LWs are Williams or Leao not Gordon
@@philip244Gordon is top tier , as good as either you just mentioned.
@@marmedli9124 got 0 goals and 0 assists in the top tier tournament last season (champions league)
Howe out
The criticism of the manager is fair enough.
Isak has only 4 or 5 games in him before he pulls a sicky
Gordon wants to leave
Tonali ? He's literally done sweet fa in a Newcastle shirt 😂
@@michelemijat8260
A week after signing a new contract ?
4th, 7th and ? Not progress!
Couldn't agree more chris
Agreed. The lack of signings. Paper thin squad. Where was Barnes, he has been one of our best players this season and deserves to start. The front 3 were tosh yesterday and the substitutions were rubbish even though there wasn’t much to choose from to be fair. Get a striker in asap.
Absolutely bang on the mark mate.
Genuinely
too many happy clappers, sick of people who can't take the reality of the situation
The way we play reminds me of Stoke City under Tony Pullis. A team of grafters with very little invention. It's time for a change.
@@BrianDawsonLM10 Exactly.
Fully valid rant Chris. Only this I'd differ with is that Hall was good.
Yes, at the bottom line of 3 on the left.
Hall, J7, Gordon. Go figure 🤔
Love your show . You’re straight to the point but also make me laugh . You don’t mince your words 😆
💯 we need to look at the reality
100% agreed mate
Lots of good points, as soon as I saw Murphy in the starting XI I was worried yesterday Eddie is too loyal to certain players
I hate our 4-3-3 formation. I don’t think it works at all. I’m for a 4-2-3-1 style instead
Well said buddy, spot on in every respect!!!
Howe is to blame, he wanted GUEHI or NOBODY!! Why isn’t anyone realising this? This is Howe who didn’t want to sign anyone that “wasn’t the right player” - get this manager GONE!!!!
And replaced by who?
And Guehi playing yesterday doesn’t get us any goals either.
@@markwagstaff7209 Ruben Amorim - Sporting Lisbon Manager - top of the league AGAIN, 27 goals scored, 2 conceded (so far)
Do you just copy and paste this every time a new video comes oot?
This is pure speculation, you don't know what is said behind the scenes, I wouldn't trust Paul Mitchell as far as I could throw him, and if it was true, then the structure needs to change, managers change all the time, owners don't, so they should be in charge of recruitment.
We have been after a striker for 2 years I’ve been saying it for years Wilson isn’t fit enough I’m not fussed on Gordon at all!! Eddie Howe has to go I’m afraid if we want top 4 he’s not lethal enough and to loyal to rubbish players
Willock disappearing like Marty Mcfly on that photograph 😂.
Well said Chris , I agree with everything you said . Lack of recruitment has bitten us in the backside and we're playing players who should have been gone ages ago . Poor substitutions and loyalty to very poor favourites is killing us . No chance of top 6 as it stands .
Chris would like the toon to go get terzic he still unemployed after leaving dortmund bring some freshness and new ideas to the team and will probably bring in some quality because of who he is, just a thought
longshaft cldnt even get past the first man with that set peice jeeees
We can't bloody score! Why didn't we buy a striker we could bloody use! Very worrying!
Good, in Lord Mitchell we trust
Well I find it strange, Brighton, city and Everton have been our best performances of the season. Yet we’ve only 1 goal in the 3 games and obviously 2 points.
At this rate we will be mid-table at best
All elite managers are ruthless Eddie doesn't have that will he ever have it thats my worry
I think Eddie Howe has taken us as far as he can
True words
Mumra the ever living😂
Totally agree with you on all points Chris. 👍
Headless chicken
terzic ex dortmund manager available
It’s time
Decent striker and right winger was needed , did nether 😮 😢
SPOT ON AS USUAL CHRIS LAD
NO MORE TURD TO POLISH
The set plays are absolutely dreadful. Burn ànd Hall have been the best players so far this season.
I agree with you that Howe will be out at the end season.
Tonali, Isak will be away and
Bruno should not be captain next season.
I think the Bruno captain thing is weird I must say. The only thing I can think is that he wanted it & they thought Tripps was away which never happened. It's a mess really.
Spot on.
👏totally agreed with everything you have said. happy clappers just don't see it and moan when we have a constructive opinion. I like Howe but does not have a plan B, his subs are atrocious and not just v brighton.
