@@ngweenga5855 dreams that are message at times just come unexpectedly while the thought related dreams come as a result of something that you heard, saw happen and it really touched you even if you didn’t realize it. Every time you have a certain dream when you wake up, sit down and think about whether something similar to it has happened to you that day or recently. I hope that this helped.

That scripture doesn't mean what you just explained o. Start reading from the beginning of that chapter. The bible was referring to birds of prey that will come and eat dead bodies on the day of God's vengeance on earth, that none of them will lack their mate. It wasn't referring to us.
There will be people that won't have mates and it's perfectly God's will

I really like what is preached here, the whole emphasis on the scriptures.
You know over the years it appears the scriptures were being neglected and more emphasis was given to prayers.
But there really has to be a balance between the word of God, and prayers.
In the book of acts 6:4 it says "But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word".
Two things are being emphasised here:
(1) prayer
(2)The ministry of the word
These two things ought to go hand in hand one should not be upheld while the other is overlooked. Both of them should be upheld.
But sometimes, it can be observed that most Christians pray a lot. It's not bad to pray, but I don't think it's good when christians pray without knowing the scriptures. Or when they pray as christians, but they don't live as christians.
There are things you can pray about and it appears there is no result. But constant sitting with the scriptures will bring a change in mindset and thinking, which will result in solutions to problems.
Jesus said you err because you don't know the scriptures or the power of God.
Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
The power of God can be invoked through prayers ok, but what about the word of God ?
If you pray without knowing the scriptures there is a tendency to err.
Don't despise, dreams, visions, prophecies or any other kind of revelatory experiences you have been having. But make sure you test them, in the light of the scriptures.
Don't just go swallowing everything because of who said it or who saw it, even if you were the one.
So let me use this opportunity to encourage christians out there and those that will come to read this post that they should balance their prayer life with deep roots in the scriptures. Thanks.
