Hi. I just would like to ask your opinion that which one did you prefer the most out of the two Levorg or Outback? Im thinking about to buy a Subi i need constant AWD to go skiing plus good amount of space for longer journey with my family. I love both for some points but really interesting that what do you think. Thanks for the video.
Sadly its a car consigned to history in the UK. Subarus are not cheap to run or maintain, ive had three but there is something special about the boxer engine and AWD setup. Apart from the WRX STI they are not fast cars, a lot of people hate CVTs but if you’re a fan, it does everything you need.
Its not even mpg because ir would be only marginally worse on raw numbers while in practice is possible to do better with manual if you do economy driving well. Its a shame :/ Same as them not offering this or 2.0 turbo engines on XV.
@@simoncase6312 We're not so lucky in europe :/ Subaru mistreats us by giving us no manuals and only weaker engines and then they complain that Subaru's dont sell here :/ Right now there is not a si gle manual car to buy from them new anymore, only cvts. While usa have 6speed manuals ib Crosstrek/XV and Imprezas still
I love how the cvt drives. Not to sure about direct injection. Carbon build can be a long term issue. Subaru brz use multi point injection from Toyota. I would like that on my levorg.
@MK Automotive They engine is at 2500-2750/min at 140km/h? @@vectraB97 Hey. What Levorg exactly do you own? Same engine like this one on video? Are u satisfie? What are the disadvantages?
@@kennethm5721 1.6l I haven't tested what rpm it has at 140km/h. 90km/h is the max speed limit where I live. It's revs smoother than any 4cyl inline engine I've owned.
Its may be sunroof if it has one or window or sensitive microphone. All the Subarus ive had were very quiet inside. My current Impreza is very refined and relaxing on motorways.
I have owned 1,6 GT for a month now in Finland. It sure is thirsty in cold weather in city. When we had these -10c to -20c temps, it took easily 11-13 litres/100km in city. Long highway drives with engine getting warm it goes under 7l/100km easily. It's not the most economical car for sure, but always when I drive it, I'm enjoying it. That automatic and 4wd is a great combination. Edit: I forgot to mention, that also when the engine is warm, the economy gets way better in city driving also. And I hope all remember, that I have only owned the car 1 month now, so these are only my thoughts. :)
@@GaryKari Thank you for the feedback,i guess in spring/summer temperature will do 9-10 in city, maybe 9 i small city with less traffic. Is it dynamic car ?What is your opinion..i now have Volvo v50 2.0d 136 and maybe i will miss the dynamics, but since Levorg is automatic CVT maybe when you floor it will engage quick because of the transmission ?
@@L.Lyubomirov you can find a lot of videos and other information from the youtube and internet. CVT is a new transmission for me also. It's nice in normal drive, but when you floor it, it takes maybe a bit "too" much time, before acting. But I have only drove in "i" mode, not in "s" mode. But overall I think the engine and trans work nice together. If your Volvo had a automatic, then testdrive Levorg to see does it suit you. For me, this Levorg is the first 4wd AND automatic. My previous car was 1,8 tsi Octavia 2008.
@@L.Lyubomirov Well, I haven't got a chance to drive Levorg on dry tarmac yet, so it's hard to answer. My Octavia was manual, and Levorg is automatic, so it makes the comparison even harder. The driving experience is so different. If I have to say something, then Octavia in dry condition a bit quicker to accelerate. Of course Levorg 4wd in snow or wet makes it better.
It does. Turbo solves all the problems with torque and in case of petrol engines even more with power. Its just a shame it isnt available with a manual. Tho seeing how closely related it is to XV/Impreza and WRX swapping in a manual shouldnt be a problem.
@@Kacpa2 the later version in the UK is a 2 litre NA engine. I had the heavier Outback, no turbo but plenty quick enough in “S” mode for any situation, and in all honesty if we are talking overtaking, 99% of the time nobody needs to overtake anyone. In the UK there is a lack of education amongst drivers, they think you need tons of power to be safe. No, all that means is they take greater risks and put themselves in situations they shouldn’t be in, and use their lack of driving ability to justify owning a powerful car.
@@oddities-whatnot I wish it came out with Manual transmission and handbrake since it has the same interior and base chassis as my 2012 XV 2.0i(same egine as late Levorg). I just need those 20-30cm more lenght in the back. Shame Subaru didnt make it so. That;s why i am looking more towards Legacy 4th generation wagon, facelift has everything that newer models had, and some fun engine options. But the best one and one i am after is very rare with manual, but it does exist atleast. So i will go for instead.

Lane control on bends makes for a better drive ;)

Ive had an Outback, comfy ride. The Levorg is firmer with lower profile tyres and based on the WRX STI chassis.
Pretty much every subaru has constant awd

Ať hledám jak hledám, samotná recenze na levorga na tomto kanále není. Že?
Thanks for the video of a great car.
You have both hands on the wheel so how is your camera attached please?
I guess a chest strap or a simple clip.
I got it somewhere between nose and mouth :)

The consumption is so much up to driver... I get easilly 6,x liters/100km in normal roads, and in city it's 8,x liters/100km.
Why bother to build a turbo 4 and not make it 2.0 or 2.5l?
