Broner couldn't knock out, stop, or give the beating that he promised to Pauli. Broner clearly won a close fight, I recognize, but he disappointed everyone. Pauli showed superior speed and defensive skills, but his lack of power didn't help to get the decision.Adrian was given this fight so that he could bright against the powerless Pauli, but he couldn't effectively deliver. His camp has to be smart and continue to pick his the right opponents; he's clearly overrated.
That's probably why he moved up. He isn't dumb enough to take a fight with that tank Gamboa right now. .

I got tremendous respect for Paulie, he has substance, and let's not forget that he has actually been in the trenches with the likes of World Class Fighers like Cotto. If i recall he had his jaw broken and continued fighting, which is far from an easy thing to do. Broner has not been tested as of yet. Stars develop by their own virtue, they are not contrived; he should ask Floyd if his ascension to the top of the sport was easy.
