Hi Olivia!! Thanks for sharing your trips. It is very helpful. I have a question about the car you used if you don’t mine . We looking for the new car to fit with my whole family 4 adults 2 baby. Thanks
was curious if you could share what types of games and books you download to Christian's tablet for travel? We have an ipad and anytime we travel (which is frequently) I try to put something new on it that does not require wifi or data.
Lol. I literally started crying when you said 21 hour trip with 8 mo and 2.5 yo. Because I’ve been stressing about going for a 12 hour with a 9 mo and 2.5 yo😂😭
Hi! Great tips thanks! One question, which places do you think are the best for them to go in the car? (obviously in the back seat of the car but baby on the left, toddler in middle for example)
Love the tips! Randomly though, as a Registered Dietitian I don’t love the idea of using the term “keto” in the same sentence as talking about snacks for kids. Children need carbohydrates to grow and develop. I would hope the advertiser would not have approved of that. Otherwise great video!
I know I’m late but it’s still has carbs? It’s also a snack so I personally don’t feed my kids a ton of carbs during snack time. Also I’m not sure what you mean by the advertiser not approving because they are advertising that it is a keto friendly snack.
Children do not need sugar. RD’s don’t want to recommend keto but they’ll encourage “everything in moderation” like it’s ok for kids to be eating sugar 🙄
@@SaltySirenFloriduh I’m not sure I totally understand what you’re saying. Are you speaking about added sugar? I don’t know of any RDs who are encouraging people add sugar to their kids diet. Are you speaking of natural “sugar” AKA fructose like what is in fruit? Yes, we would encourage kids to eat carbohydrates fruit and other forms of naturally occurring “sugar”. Diet culture (example: Keto diet, or any diet for that matter) is very damaging to children. Also- a diet that limits carbohydrates to 5% of daily intake is also not recommended for children and they need carbohydrates to fuel the brain and body. The one exception to this is for children with epilepsy. So to sum this all up, yes I 100% stand by what I said in the first place.
Thanks for the tips Olivia! Also.. packing cubes are the best, I agree. My boys will be similar in age difference once February baby gets here, so these videos are super helpful. Safe travels!
Did you see the preview for the trash truck Christmas special on Netflix coming out in December. I just saw it on their clips of what's coming out next month and thought of yall
So glad I ran across this video! I live in Austin and we're driving from here to St. Louis this summer when my little guy will be 8 months. I'm so nervous 🙈 Do you have recommendations on which car seat to use? Our graco snugride is not cutting it
I'm pregnant right now and I'm due in March..... in June I plan on taking my baby cross country (from Augusta Georgia to Othello Washington) for 2 months and I'm trying to figure it out if I'm going to fly or drive...... I want to drive but it will just be me and baby so idk and everyone is telling me to just fly and mail everything 😂
Thanks so much for this video! Just a note when you head back to California they usually ask you at the borderline if you have any produce. I was pretty sad because I had to throw away my oranges and other fruits. You guys live in California so I'm guessing you guys do know how strict they are with bringing produce. I don't know why because I'm not going to be planting anything when I was going to be visiting in California I was going to be eating my fruits and disposing of them. Just a heads up really appreciate the video since we never really traveled with our son. Thanks again!
It has to do with produce diseases being transferred to California. California's citrus farmers took a gigantic hit when citrus canker hit them. They lost millions just because someone from South America brought a bag of oranges in. There are also insects that California doesnt have and it can kill their produce. They one time stopped people coming from South America. They had oranges with them and they found 200 different kinds of bugs and 100 of them would have wiped out California's citrus.
Such good tips even for shorter car rides ... Snacks haha do you guys all share one room or you found suits ? Hope you have having a good time with family 😊
I really need to get myself some packing cubes. I love the idea of them but have never gotten around to buying them! Just a note for anyone that might not be aware - I see the snacks are marketed as "keto". I totally understand wanting to limit added sugar and things like that, and these snacks would be fine alongside a balanced diet, but kids absolutely needs cards to be able to grow and develop properly so please always ensure that they are offered carbs throughout the day 😊

Just one thing, is it safe to give to baby so concentrate with protein snack? Not harmful for liver or kidney?

Kids and adults need healthy carbs not additives and sugar. Green and yellow vegtables are great carbs. Keto is not harmful in any way for children.
THANK YOU from 2025 lol
