I think a pixelated plumbob to match your intro style would be cool for merch. If anything I’d want something semi-plain so that I can actually wear it to school and stuff!

The apartments have on and off issues with pets, there are so many glitches with the game I can't start Rags to Riches. This pack made me fall in love with darker woods. I can't torture my Sims with just one bathroom. Oh yes, we love challenges 🌈 Your voice sounds clearer 👍I'm excited! Half of my clothes are merch.

I am an artist, I tend to draw while listening/watching your video. When I heard merchandise and maybe an art competition I was like wow, I did not expect that. But it sounds like a cool idea!

Yes I can. I have an old out off date drawing tablet. It might not be professional looking. I don't draw that much as I should, I'm not a pro, and out of date tablet means there's sloppy delay to slow the process down. That can mess with line quality. + Do you play animal crossing? I'm preparing some doodles. To draw people, do you want it in New Horizons style. I can only think about to try, with being simple.
Now that the game has bunk beds, the scoot-over feature for double beds against walls, and the infant life stage, I somehow managed to fit 8 sims in the smallest apartment, 9×9. 2 parents in a 4×3 bedroom, a teen and 2 kids (twins in a bunk bed) in a 5×3 bedroom, and a toddler, infant, and baby in a 3×3 bedroom (toddler bed, crib, and bassinet). The bathroom and kitchen are both 3×3, which leaves the remaining space for a dining area and tiny living room. The hall space is a toddler and infant play area. Somehow, everything functions and the Sims can access everything. I didn't think it was possible.
I saw the notification for the video but just started building a pub in Sims so I didn't click on it. I came here immediately after but just realised it's been a few hours lol
About an art competition, that's not really nice for artists if you think about it. Because if your art get chosen, you are compensated. But if you don't get chosen, you still put a lot of effort and time into that, and even money if you think about how much art materials cost (like, even digital art, you need a computer and/or a tablet and softwares which cost money). I understand when people suggest that kind of thing it comes from a good place of wanting to include your community in the process of making the merch, which is nice, but being an artist or an illustrator is actually a profession, it is real work, and people need to be payed for their work, regardless of it being the work you choose to use or not. If you want to include your subscribers, maybe ask people who follow you to send you samples or a portifolio, that way you can choose an artist or an illustrator from your community and pay them for their work.
I wouldn’t say it’s not nice ‘cause no one’s forced to join, it’s up to themselves

@@AvelineYT Look, I'm not coming for you or anything, I think I was very nice in explaining why many artists and illustrators don't like these kind of "competitions". Of course you're not forcing anyone to join, but you are kind of promoting a mentality that art is not a real professional job that needs paying, and that's problematic, it's something artists have to struggle with everyday. So Idk, it's up to you. I just thought I'd give you this perspective of why this is not that cool for artists, but do what you gotta do.

@@gothbunie4932 In a way, yes, that is exactly what I am saying, and many artists and illustrators would agree with me on that one. But just to be clear, there's a difference between an art competiton and what some famous people and creators do, which is what was suggested here. What she's suggesting is that she has a "job oppening" and everyone has to send her the job completely done, and she will choose the best one, and only this one will be payed for their work. The compensation is to be hired and be payed for your job. That is so problematic on so many levels. Imagine if all job interviews were like that? You and a thousand other people do the work, and then only one of you gets paid. That's horrible. Just imagine if in your field of work it was like that, it would be very frustating and that's why professional artists and illustrators don't like this kind of thing, it reinforces a mentality that being an artist is not a real job, and that artists don't need to be payed for their work.
