Great video! It answered my question. I wanted to stretch some ground beef I had. I had been playing with seitan, but I didn’t know if I could grind it up in the food processor to make it look like ground beef. Now I know I can. Thanks!
Thanks .. it works well with anything that you previously used ground beef for .. there’s a vegan breakfast sandwich on my channel that uses this recipe for a breakfast sausage that you can also check out. Thanks for the feedback 🙂
Woweee..had no clue that this was possible!…Excellent tutorial!…thank you so much for your knowledge…this opens more doors for more recipes!🥰… you got a new Subscriber!
Thanks ... I love this recipe and it works well in any recipe that you previously used ground beef for ie nachos, bolognese etc. I have a breakfast sandwich on my channel where I use this recipe to make a sausage patty that you can also check out. Thanks for the feedback 🙂

One brand name is Gravy Master, typically in the canned and jar gravy aisle of market . It’s made from caramelized sugar and seasonings , good to add for that darker browned ground beef color and adds flavor .
I see you listed ingredients below...would it be too much trouble to type out basic directions, too, so one doesn’t need to rewatch video ? It’s ok if not, just was hoping. Thanks for sharing this. I’m trying to get right blend of dark and light grounds to mimic a traditional meat pie for holidays. Do you do a pork or chicken faux ground as well? Peace.
Hey ... I don’t do a ground pork or chicken... however it is my understanding that choosing a chicken flavored seasoning for example, is what would give you that “chicken” taste .. perhaps . To me, this ground seitan works in any recipe that I previously used pork, chicken or beef. Hope this answer helps :) thanks for watching ..
Also.. yes I can try to type out instructions going forward or add the time the task appears in the video so someone can simply click on it...good idea ..thank you.
Amazing recipe you just saved me a ton of money . I am so grateful I found your channel. Thank you from South Dakota.

Yooooo I gotta try this! I miss foods with beef ground, and i hate the way beyond meat tastes as a ground.

@@insatiablevegan1219 ty and appreciate all your help and advice.
Have you ever tried it without the oil ?
No I have not .
can we replace the chickpea flour with oatflour?
can't say that I know the answer to that. I suppose the only way to know is to attempt it. If you do, lmk how it turns out. thx for watching.
I’m annoyed by the misleading photo on the main frame.
