    Rute:
Finse - Krækkja (ca. 23 km)
Krækkja - Stigstuv (ca. 26 km)
Stigstuv - Sandhaug (ca. 13 km)
Sandhaug - Litlos (ca. 19 km)
Litlos - Hellevassbu (ca. 18 km)
Hellevassbu - Haukeliseter (ca. 21 km)
Music: Be Still // The Killers
    Be still
    And go on to bed
    Nobody knows what lies ahead
    And life is short
    To say the least
We're in the belly of the beast
    Be still
    Wild and young
    Long may your innocence reign
    Like shells on the shore
And may your limits be unknown
And may your efforts be your own
If you ever feel you can't take it anymore
    Don't break character
You've got a lot of heart
Is this real or just a dream?
    Rise up like the sun
Labor 'til the work is done
    Be still
    One day you'll leave
    Fearlessness on your sleeve
When you've come back, tell me what did you see
    What did you see?
Was there something out there for me?
    Be still
    Close your eyes
Soon enough you'll be on your own
    Steady and straight
And if they drag you through the mud
It doesn't change what's in your blood
(Over rock, over chain, over trap, over plain)
    When they knock you down
    Don't break character
You've got a lot of heart
Is this real or just a dream?
    Be still
    Be still
    Be still
    Be still
    Over rock and chain
    Over sunset plain
    Over trap and snare
    When you're in too deep
    In your wildest dream
    In your made up scheme
    When they knock you down
    When they knock you down
    Don't break character
    You've got so much heart
Is this real or just a dream?
Oh rise up like the sun and
Labor 'til the work is done
Rise up like the sun and
    Labor 'til the work is
Rise up like the sun and
Labor 'til the work is done

Nice video. Can I ask what kind of skis did you use?

Thank's for watching! We used ordinary allround mountain skis from Åsnes, model "Cecilie" and "Nansen". We bought most of our ski equipment at Fjellsport. Check this link: www.fjellsport.no/merker/asnes

Hello, I wanted to ask how did you get out from Haukeliseter fjellstue, because I can´t find any bus connection or any train connection

Yes, the logistics can be tricky. We parked our car in Geilo and took the train to Finse, where we startet our trip. In advance we booked a local rental car. They delivered the car at Haukeliseter Fjellstue, and left the car key for pick up in the reception. All was arranged before our arrival to Haukeliseter Fjellstue. Wish you all the best. Have a safe journey!

Hi there. We are considering to take the same route like you. Would it be ok to go around mid of april? Isn’t it too warm then?
Is it possible to spend some of the nights in the cabins in case needed? Are they open? Where can we get the key from? Thanks a lot!

Hi there, thanks for wathing our video! It should be doable to take this trip mid April. Please note: week 15-2022 is Easter season and Vidda will be more crowded. When we crossed vidda in 2021 the DNT cabins where closed due to the Pandemic, but they are more likely opened now. We do recommend to visit DNT website for cabin reservation, weather- and snow report: www.dnt.no/. Be aware of there's only cellphone and radio signal at the start (Finse) and at the end (Haukeliseter). We wish you all the best planning. Have a safe adventure!
