Love watching your videos. I also have a son (Vincent) with Autism. As first time parents it wasn't easy being told that my son had Autism. When he turned 18 months I noticed he wasn't reaching certain milestones with his language. We then spoke with his Pediatrician & he was officially diagnosed at 20 months. Since then he's been getting 2hr ABA therapy classes Mon-Fri & has even been going to a special school program from our county. He is now 3, almost 4 in November. He has made tremendous changes. He's learned sign language, his ABC's, Numbers from 1-20, colors, & shapes. He's so smart. Early intervention was the key to his growth. Thank you for posting & sharing the lives of you & of you Beautiful family. GOD bless you.

Thank you for sharing. My son was also diagnosed at 2, he is now 4. I am grieving. We have him in full time ABA but haven't seen any significant progress. A part of me feels as if I've lost my son and to just accept that he is gone. This is terrible to think but I'm trying to mentally cope the day to day challenges. I want to hope but I'm scared of heartbreak. Your video has given me a lot of hope that maybe my son can change. He is minimally verbal. I am also interested in the dietary changes you made. Thank you for sharing your journey. Your children are beautiful.

Im happy to see this channel. My son, 2.8yrs old, was diagnosed to be on the spectrum just this year (May 27, 2019, to be exact). It was devastating. Me and my family was residing in Qatar, working abroad. Due to the financial circumstances, my wife and my son needed to be back to the Philippines since the therapy is less expensive compare here at Qatar where it is ten times the price in PH. We cannot afford it. It was really hard, like I, we need to face two things. Being away from my son and my wife... And accepting that, yes, my son is in the spectrum.
Its been one and a half month since they went home to PH. My son was also 1 month old in his therapy. We are pleased by his improvement.
Wishing great things for Dylan. I know that the likes of our son is made for such unbelievable and amazing reasons. I am excited as it unfolds bit by bit.
More power to you channel! Please say hi to Dylan for me and my son, Stephen.

Leoosand Gurung hey there. Dairy doesn’t effect autism but about 80% of children have gut issues and for some children it can upset their tummies. But if your baby is doing well and has regular bowel movements and growing , its suiting him just fine 🥰

Kimberlyn Ortiz this is great that he is going to a school. It was very tough at the start. Is he going to a specialist school? I was upset in the beginning as I felt he was only little but I knew in my heart it was the right thing to do for him to go. Once he got in to a routine and got to know the place he was fine. It really was the best thing for him x

    • @kimberlynortiz4168

Coming Home to Autism well the school district actually is sending him out of district in a specialized school and the problem is that it’s is too far. Maybe less than an hour away but for me it feels far because I’ve been with my son every single day through this early intervention. We are actually visiting the schools tomorrow and Thursday so maybe just by seeing them, will change our minds. They do provide public transportation but as any parent watching the news, I’ve seen all these incidents with the school buses and it doesn’t really make the situation better for me lol. Overall the idea of not being with each other will be hard. I left him with my mother in law Saturday and he just was super upset and scratched her ,pulled her hair at one point they were asking us to come home, we didn’t because he has to learn to calm down. And the same will be for once he attends school or maybe it will be different since he will be with other kids .

Great channel 💜 Love watching your videos! My almost 5 year old has ASD as well. He has lots of words and phrases, but has yet to speak naturally in full sentences. He also has delayed echolalia which accounts for most of his expressive language. Did your son have those kinds of language issues? How old was he when you were finally able to have a conversation with him? What about food issues? My son only eats a few different things, and refuses to try anything new. By the way...I'm sorry for the bombardment, but I'm rarely able to get perspective from any other autism moms lol This is the loneliest journey. I am thankful that he can speak at all, but I'm still truly broken inside. The despair I feel sometimes is all consuming to the point of anxiety attacks. I just want so badly for him to enjoy a normal life. I pray he achieves the amount of progress your son has. Your videos gives me so much hope. I'll be looking forward to your next one :)

Keep it up and I also feel down sometimes but I think this is natural but I always look the glass half full rather than anything. I try to get a break during the day to not be too overwhelmed. I get nanny once in a while to get respite. When I do this I get recharged and ready again to teach my son and apply the management from his therapies. He is a sweet boy lots of kisses I get from him and he loves playing with us. I too am hoping he will speak sentences soon. Yes we’ve always told Dylan about his autism we’ve never made it a secret as I don’t want to be something that he is ashamed of I don’t want it something that upset him instead, accepting it’s part of who he is. just like we’re all different in my house Luca has red hair , and dylan has autism. I would tell people in front of him when he was little and then bought books on it and we just spoke about it very honestly . Dylan now thinks his autism is a super power x

My son is 2.5 and still not talking, he’s been diagnosed with a development delay but I believe there is some mild Autism in there aswell, they won’t test them here in Australia till he’s 3 which is fine as a diagnosis wouldn’t change what we are doing now anyway (speach therapy , OT etc) I just feel like he’s never going to talk, also did you son have trouble when he was little with general comprehension ? Like as in if you have him an Instruction or spoke to him would he always understand what you ment? we’re struggling with that aswell
