To tell stories of the future, she says, the ideal is to combine the heritage of the past with an innovative Outlook.
A year ago, RIR&Co was promoted to develop its own projects and participate in research on technological fabrics based on optical fibre that have been patented and registered as a new Industrial Design of Fabric.
One of these projects is "Vagalume" (firefly in Galician) with elaborations based on linen and silver rayon that cover optical fiber.
She teaches in a master's degree at the University of Vigo and speaks about her favourite subjects: craftsmanship as heritage, collaboration between creative sectors, technology and craftsmanship, neo-craftsmanship.
The latest: weaving blankets with milk fibre.
