In case anyone was confused, a few things that weren't properly explained...
1) Aaron was only 19 when he became the head chef. So they didn't respect him because to them, he's still a kid.
2) Scott used his own money to fund the restaurant, so naturally he wanted to be more involved. But yeah, he was too intense, like he wanted to beat people up.
He had every right to be mad at AJ, because as he said in the episode, "I put in the money not for you to lose it"...& there's the part where he pointed out AJ gets paid, but the owners didn't.
This episode is 1 of the least frustrating ones mostly because the owners actually wanted to change for the better. & if I recall, this restaurant was 1 of the few that lasted the longest in the entire Kitchen Nightmares series, but it's not active anymore...

No wonder they were talking back to Aaron! The owners should fire the kitchen staff and hire New ones because this kind of disrespect doesn't fly in our kitchen, no matter what age!

(UPDATE FOR ALL RESTAURANTS) Sadly Jacks waterfront closed in 2010. And michons closed in 2018. And even after the show Mill street bistro closed in 2013 cause even after the show joe drove his business to the ground cause he didn’t listen to gordon. And Zocalo closed in January 2013 for the holidays and never reopened.
It really looks like every restaurant on this show doesn't survive

I work in my family’s restaurant as a waiter and a lady (who was in I believe her late 40’s) was seated in my section with her kid (like 4 to 5 year old) and I did what I usually do. Later on after they got their food the lady called me over and told me, her kid didn’t like the soup and I asked what was wrong with it and she told me it was to hot and she wanted me to cool it down and feed it to her kid. Who was throwing a tantrum because the mom didn’t let the kid have a milkshake and I told the mom that I can cool down the soup but I can not feed the soup to her child. She didn’t like that and she started yelling at me and she threw her drink a me (it was sweet iced tea) and was being a Karen. My manager who was a family friend came over and asked what happen and why she threw her drink at me, she started lying and making up things I didn’t do, my manager asked me what happened and I explained. My manager took my side and the Karen was upset she didn’t want to pay, she didn’t apologize, she only paid because we threatened to call the cops if she didn’t.

I used to work at an applebees and this guy came in, zero clue if he was on something but it was literally like five or less minutes before we closed everything was cleaned and we were finishing up the last of our work for the morning shift and when i told the man we were closing and he couldn’t sit down and eat he actually pissed on me. seriously cried and quit that night
