Danny, thank you so much for the shout-out, that's very kind of you. The work yourself and Jeremy are putting together is some of the best there is in the gaming sphere. I won't lie that NoClip has been a huge influence on how I approach my work in recent years so to see AI and Games in this list - and in such good company - is very humbling. All the best!
Man, I'm so glad he shouted you out, or I might not have ever found you. Your content is amazing. I've been watching for the past few hours and it is great, especially because I've always been interested in AI.
Absolutely. Brilliant graphic design, golden-voiced narration, and very thorough information. The holy trinity of FPS docs on RUclips are 1. Doom by Ahoy 2. Quake by Ahoy 3. Half-Life by Noclip
Joseph Anderson is incredible. He’s not a documentarian, more of a critic, but his critiques are so in-depth so more like Mathew matosis. Highly recommend.
@Benjamin McCann Not really. He's just in depth. I can see how you might think that if you've only seen maybe one of his videos but it's a hard disagree from me. Like, he's spent the last few months editing down his witcher 2 script because he's conscious of the length. I think you're thinking of the right guy but yeah you're pretty off tbh
Hard disagree from me as well. The longest ones are actually the most captivating ones. Just like with games: If its really good, you want it to be very long. If the only thing I want from a video is just telling me "story boring, shooting fun, explosions cool" then yeah, it only needs to be 5 minutes long. Thats the opposite of what he does though.

This. Yes. He is absolutely fantastic at what he does and he deserves a way bigger audience. The depth and eloquence of his commentaries is unbelievable. And his older travel videos are some of the best content I've seen on youtube.
Well deserved mate! I'd also like to shout out some other game channels I watch religiously: Raycevick Game Maker's Toolkit Writing on Games New Frame Plus
For those who don't know, the CEO of Insomniac Games, Ted Price, often hosts a podcast under Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) which consists of interviews with game developers. The podcast is called Game Maker's Notebook, and is both on youtube and on their own site. Very interesting listen for those interested in interviews with a wide range of developers.
Congratulations. Almost 3 years ago, after watching a single video about horizon zero dawn, I was immediately sold to your content. Keep up the good work. P. S. I don't know if you count this as documentary, but I like to watch postmortem on GDC channel.
Thank you Noclip for all of your hard work. It's really incredible listening to all these video game related documentaries and I hope you'll continue to do this high quality work for years to come.

They're good videos. But that "war stories" title really makes me bounce off hard. It's video game development stories.
