Thank you very much ! It's going to be beautiful.. as usually ! It is a pleasure to find Rita Berman Europa. It had been a long time since anyone had colored the book.
Happy New Year Marit. I hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Love what you are doing with this illustration. Always look forward to your videos, so calming. Anyway, I wish you all the very best for 2023. Take care, Kindest Regards, Helen.
Thank you so much we had a lovely holiday celebration. Hope you did too ❤️ I’m so glad you are enjoying the page. I hope to do it justice. I wish you a wonderful 2023 🎉
Your music always inspires me to get back on the piano. I played since I was a little girl and sort of let it go the last ten years. Who is the artist?
I’m so glad to hear it. I use royalty free music from Epidemic sound (there’s a link in the description), and there are a few different artists from there, but I very often use Johannes Bornlōf, Lama House, Gavin Luke and Franz Gordon with some others in between.
Marit, this is fantastic!! I colored along with you on this one. I had to do 2 layers of the blues around the outer edges, and it came out so pretty. I'm not good at how much pressure to apply yet. But you are helping me so much. I think you're a wonderful instructor, and you give us such clear instructions. I think this is my best coloring page yet. All thanks to your guidance. I'm looking forward to the next tutorial. Thanks again so much. I really appreciate your talent, and your time. Best wishes to you for a Happy New Year ❤️❤️
Thank you so much. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the process. I’m hoping to finish this page today, so I will have the tutorial up hopefully in the next 16/17 hours or so if all goes well with the editing. A very Happy New Year to you too 💙🤍💜
Marit, i am following along. Can you tell me if you went over the brown on the trees with the mineral spirit too. I am sorry if I have missed it as I have the volume down some of the time!
Thank you so much for following! You’ve actually picked up on a glitch from my side. I did in fact go over it off camera (forgot to press record), and usually I’d always let you guys know in my voiceover, but I’ve totally forgotten 🫣 So yes, you can definitely do some blending on the trees.
Hi Marit, such a gorgeous start, I really like how you are coloring this page! When I was shopping at Amazon I noticed the Derwent tortillions, like the ones you used here, do you like them? Thank you Marit.
Thank you so much! Yes this little Derwent blending stumps are great. I love how they don’t put down too much of the odourless mineral spirits, so I don’t have an issue of it going through the paper. They also blended really well 😊❤️
@@MaritsColourfulAdventures You’re so welcome! I did notice that about the Derwent blending stumps, there wasn’t a lot of mineral spirits flooding your page. Thank you so much for the information!😊❤️
Enjoyed this video. What pencils do you find work best on the Rita Berman paper? The polychromos look good, but do they feel hard to blend? What other pencils besides polychromos could you recommend?
I’m so sorry for missing this comment. I love working with Polychromos, and I feel they work well in the Rita Berman books. I find using OMS to blend works well, but most of the time I just use lots of light layers, allowing each colour to shine through each other rather than blending them together. A wax based pencil like Prismacolor or Caran d’ach would work too, if you prefer blending 😊
Magique ! Merci pour ce beau partage 😘👏👏👏🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so very much 💙💙
Happy New Year, beautiful picture ❤
Thank you so much, and a very Happy New Year to you too 🎇❤️
Hi beautiful awesome work 💛❤❤💟❤💟💖💟💖💟

Thank you for this great tutorial ❤ So relaxing not to have to choose colors yourself but just following the instructions. Thank you so much 🙏💚🌹
