🌺My hair gets extremely dry if I don't consistently hydrate it. So here's. Quick video on how I use my DIY hibiscus and honey tea for extra hydration and moisture.
🌺Benefits of using a tea to hydrate dry hair
It is rich in amino acids that nourish hair, strengthen roots and keep hair shiny and healthy. It helps condition hair, preventing dryness, frizz, and breakage. It helps treat scalp problems such as itching and dandruff.
🌺Recipe for hibiscus tea used in video:
Step 1: is to combine your hibiscus powder or leaves + rosemary leaves
⇢ Step 2: let simmer for about 10-15 mins
⇢ Step 3: strain with a cheese cloth
⇢ Step 4: once cooled add your favorite leave in conditioner + a color protecting conditioner if your hair is colored treated
⇢ Step 5: Apply on freshly washed hair before styling. This tea can also be used as a mid week scalp and hair refresher!

Hey sis!! I'm a short-hair Queen and I run into the same dry hair issues...especially when I bleach or color my hair. I've adoptd the L.O.C method. I brush it all into my strands until dry then I cover with a silky wave cap.
I'm going to follow your recipe for the leave-in spray.
Even if I decide to grow my hair out again my scalp will be healthy.

Hey there! Thanks for the question. I made hibiscus tea and then mixed in some oils and conditioner in a spray bottle. I’m a visual learning abd I love watching step by step tutorials…..so I will make a tutorial on this and upload it this week. Hope this helps friend 😊🫶🏽

Awww. You replied. Most people don’t. Thank you. It’s for my 6 year old daughter. Her hair feels like hay with dryness. I’m so overwhelmed with what to use. It’s tiring. I’m going back to simply water and Vaseline and castor oil like back in the days.
