You’ve helped me make a plan to visit Tennessee, I haven’t been there in over 39 years
Robert motivated for your wonderful videos I bought a tiny Rv this year. I just finished my first travel through the west coast of Florida from Homosassa to Naples. It was a wonderful trip however I just learned that this is not the best time of the year for Florida. I just need to learn too much from you. Thank you you are the best.
Congratulations on buying your first “tiny” RV. Welcome to the traveling family!
Robert inspired me to get an RV ( 2019 Winnebago Minnie Drop 170S ) back in 2020 and I love it.
He also inspired me three years ago to get my own "tiny RV" Have fun in your travels
There are days I miss South Florida and the beaches, but moving to Tennessee was the best decision I ever made. I love this state.
Why did you move from South Florida to Tennessee? South Florida seems like a lot more fun.
We moved from Chicago to south Kentucky. We love it here ! Went to Dollywood last Fall. 😊
I love Galtinburg and Pigeon Forge. We went back in March and there is so much to explore around the area you almost have to come back
Robert, if you would have brought your ebike, you could have biked the 11 mile cades cove loop. That look is open only to bicyclists and pedestrians on Wednesdays by the NPS.
I think the best part of traveling is seeing the landscape as you arrive to a new area
I love your videos so much because it makes me feel happy specially the music. Thanks Robert. 🍍🍍🍍
Absolutely incredible scenery! Love that wine bottle Christmas trees. Love catfish if done right! So good to meet and talk to you and your wife while on the road. 🙌🔥safe travels!
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and I swear Tennessee and bluegrass music is in my blood. Only my parents are from overseas so...past life? 😉 Beautiful.
My favorite places to go in Tennessee! Thank you Robert and your wife for the adventures. My Favorite RUclips Channel.
Veterans hwy runs parallel to the main strip in pigeon forge. Saves lots of time. Turned my Rav4 into a camper car and spent a month there back in June. I spent most of my time in the creeks and rivers. I did the roaring fork drive also. It is so beautiful. It was wonderful! Be blessed.
I lived in Miami for 45 years .. you were in my neck of of the woods. I love Tennessee .
gatlinberg episode is my fav...
Great snippets Robert! Great area to visit. Thanks for sharing.
Don't be too hard on yourself Robert. A 1,700 ft elevation change is a lot for us flat-landers :-) Especially after not hiking for awhile.
That tower as you called it, is the Space Needle, people go up to the deck to view Gatlinburg.
Below is an Arcade area, they have an pizza place that has pizza slices bigger than your head for only five dollars. Let me tell you it's fantastic pizza !!!! 🍕
I come from an area, where the small local wineries, distilleries and other small service providers and producers have united and also provide a lot of free things to boost tourism and awareness of the region (geographically very similar to the Appalachians, also known for a trail, close to a big city, a generally well-doing region). Those are generally all local, family-run businesses, who are not run by shareholders and not deemed hedge funds. A colleague of mine married into one of these families and now helps her husband run the business. They are hard working proud people, who can still make a nice living and don't mind sharing a little. I buy from these companies whenever I can
i first started watching traveling robert back in jan 2022 when it was below zero here in missoula, mt, and i love both how he manages to convey the idea of a road trip by actually showing footage of being on the road without making that so long it becomes tedious to watch. i mean, it's just right. also, and this may seem silly, but of the details i truly like is-----is get this----the crunching of his boots on hiking paths! go figure. but it makes it seem like YOU ARE THERE! anyway, right now it's a raging blizzard outside ands nice to get away..oh, also, the music really great, but Dude, you need to put out a book of your recipes!
The drive amid the smoky mountains was phenomenal. Wonderful episode
21:18 that tower was part of the space needle arcade back in the early 80s. I went there when I was like 13 or so, we stayed next door at the Ronald Reagan Hotel, lol. Ober Gatlinburg the mall part on top of the mountain had barely been open, maybe a few months old, I remember they had a huge hobby train store and the rink and restaurant was the only things in there. They didn't really have anything there at that time. I can remember Ripley's and a few other shops and the space needle arcade. You really had to drive to pigeon forge for any big attractions. In fact I think Dollywood was originally Silver dollar city. Now it all looks just way too congested.
Can't wait for the next adventure thanks Robert so we can get back to doing what we love going from state-to-state can't wait to see the look of a face :) thanks for taking us so long in your RV
Awe, I love this video!!! Sending link to my daughter who will be going to Gatlinburg with her family later this year❤️ Thanks so much for your sharing!!
I love your rv singing! I don't even have an rv but your song is in my head making me so happy! What a wonderful travelling spirit you have! Thankyou so much for sharing all this with us!! Would love to have a cd of your music!!!
Now that was an adventure excellent great work
I admire the way heights don’t bother you. I can’t do it. Best of both worlds there. Beauty and fun.
You have to go to Dixie Stampede some day. Foods decent. But it’s just so much fun.❤
So much to see! You sure covered a very large area , I can see me staying a week there. Love it!
My first memory of a family vacation was a trip to the Smokies in the '60s. Easily my favorite. I have been back a dozen times, and I still love it.
Thank you Robert
For your lovely videos
Looking forward to it every Sunday
I think the human body tracking devices are really good idea Bravo to you my friend
Love your Videos and description of all places you travel.....I enjoy the travel with you....Thanks....
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful and diverse video. Many cable cars, with beautiful landscape. The trail through the Appalachian Mountain was very nice. I love this music .... Congrats..... and I'll see you on the road..>>>.
You've done it again and produced a very enjoyable and relaxing video! Yes, the sweeping panoramic vistas of the west are my favorite, but the intimate trails of eastern woodland mountains are so enchanting in the Spring. Thank you.
Loved the program very nice scenic commanding views . Love the water falls, Thanks for sharing
Wow thank you Robert the amazing video, keep it up
Beautiful Gatlinburg Robert excellent video you guys are doing a good job keep it up
Will be there in a couple months. Thanks, Robert, for sharing these tips.
You clued us in before we visited Death Valley and you were spot on then as well.
Qué bonito Gatlinburg!!! También me gusta mucho las comidas que Ud.prepara. Qué lindo que realice su libro de cocina! Saludos desde Argentina.
I love your videos! It's so nice to see so many interesting and beautiful places.
Excellent high quality detailed video 📹...every time I feel like a vacation at Tennessee I can sit back and watch this video and I am there...
I am really enjoying these videos so far robert
That Tennessee sure is a gorgeous state. You create the best videos.
11 shots of Moonshine…you need a double shot espresso! 😂
Catching up on my traveling Robert videos.....its what I do on Sundays. Great job Robert and thanks for what you do! 🇺🇸
Another enjoyable video, you make everything so fun and scenic. Yes Smokie mountains are a tourist trap in many ways, but there is something for everyone. Great 👍 video!
Great video as usual. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, thanks for sharing your personal adventures with your viewers...
Excellent! Thank you!
I like the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area too. Last time I was there was about 6 years ago. Also, we went over to Cherokee. We were there after the big fire they had. Thanks for today’s video!
Another super video, Robert. Brings back great memories of my 2 trips to the Smokies, from Hiking to Rainbow Falls (and beyond to LeConte Lodge) to visiting Huck Finn's Catfish in Pigeon Forge. Can't wait to return. Greetings from Washington state!! :)
Excellent Robert 👍
Loved this video!
Wow fantastic video, Robert... Many thanks for sharing & Goooooood Morning!! 😃✌ 💘 🍻
Great place for a family. I loved the cable ride. Skipped most of the tourist traps though. Loved walking on the trail in the park.
Thank you for the awesome adventure
Beautiful place, beautiful people.
Love the area. Was there for Father’s Day weekend. As you said it a tourist trap, but there is just something different about it!
Can’t wait to go back!
excellent video we enjoyed it as a family as always very good job. Thank you very much. Robert and Illy, see you on the road. DG from Fort Lauderdale fl
I love this video so much! I love me some smokey mountains 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Wonderful video my friend. It looks like your enduring/ enjoying more of the touristy stuff in this area that you by passed before. Maybe it’s because the lovely Miss Illy is along this time lol. Amazing how the wife’s persuade us to do certain things. Either way wonderful video so glad the new season is up and running. I had to binge watch all of them this morning. We just returned from your home state, Lido Key beach to be exact. Safe travels my friend and to all of us who get out and enjoy this wonderful country.
Gorgeous 🌻
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵🎵🍔🍔🍕🍕🍕, this was an OUTSTANDING...let me say again...OUTSTANDING...video!! Thoroughly enjoyed all of the AWESOME of the attractions. I'm looking forward to the next video series👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!
My favorite part was the last 6 min getting to sing along (with CC turned on 🤣) ....thanks for sharing your adventures Robert
Robert this may be one of your best videos yet👍. You managed to highlight both the tourist trap & scenic parts of Gatlinburg & Great Smoky NP. We used to spend summers at the River Plantation now Sun RV REsort. Glad to see that you found my favorite Flapjacks just outside the resort. You will have to try MT LeConte & the water park at Dollywood next time. BTW, we just missed you at Badlands. We were at Mt Rushmore, Badlands, & Devils Tower this past weekend. Safe travels.
Although it may be touristy, it still looks like anyone any age can have lots of fun🚡🏞(great food 🍽and hiking trails👟👟)!!Beautiful waterfalls and great video-especially with the drone, as well!👍Take care!🌺🏞🪕
Glad to see your wife enjoying your journey.
Another incredible video!!! Thank you Robert hope to meet up one of these days!!!!
This is a great video! I enjoyed the whole thing.
Great video. Thx for sharing
Wow, Gatlinberg looks awesome. Thank you for the awesome video Mr. Robert... Lots of illy in this one, very nice... Take care Moralises... Love your channel...
GiL69 loves your video 💘
We stayed in Gatlinburg when we visited the area. We would prefer to try some place like Townsend if we ever came back. If you ever get back, I highly recommend going to Clingmans Dome. It was very crowded, but had great views. Thank you for another fun video.
Outstanding video Robert. Location were stunning and very interesting. Best 👌 👍 singing voice 👌 on RUclips. Happy travels to You. Enjoy this video very much, thanks.
This was an excellent video! I dearly love the Smokey Mountains. The next time you go you need to plan on just putting you feet in the water somewhere the water is low and not real slippery on the rocks. It is very cold water. It feels so good in the summertime. You might want to go tubing down the rapids. It is much fun. They have one for beginners if you haven't ever done this. Looking forward to your next video.
For sure you get your steps in at Gatlinburg. This looks like a fun and relaxing place to visit.
Woohoo! PA Wilds shout out! We love the PA Wilds!!
Gatlinburg was a fun one broski...one of my go to's...
😊 another great video.
Looks like you were there a few weeks ahead of us. We didn't do much in Gatlinburg though, had a nice early breakfast at Crocketts before heading out on the trails. Early mornings were nice there, but driving back through in the Kate afternoon was awful with all the traffic and all the people! Really enjoyed watching you visit all thise places there 😀
Nice video and coverage of Gatlinburg sites. Worth a watch in its entirety. I've been through there a good many times (since 1987!) but rarely stop for more than a lunch or dinner. Although for a few years I've stayed in nearby cabins with friends while on driving tours to the Tail of the Dragon. Not recommended with the trailer....
I’m a school teacher and it’s Sunday night. Guess what I’m doing to relax?! I love living vicariously through you! So relaxing!
great job
Looks like you were struggling a bit on that hike . 😆 🤣
SUPER VIDEO 😃👍👍👍👍👍
Wao!!……if I would’ve know😞…….I was there a month a go….great journey mi amigo🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I watch your videos about places I have been and places I want to go. I always leave the tv on for the dogs when I am not here on your channel so they can hear something real and not fake news. I think they have seen your Savannah show 25 times. Keep it up.
Great Video 👍 ..
Nice Robert 😃
Thanks! We'll be there in a couple weeks! We will mostly travel the Blue Ridge Parkway but will travel over to Gatlinburg our first day from Cherokee.
Awesome vlog of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg! Will be coming up in December most likely
The Smokies are great . One of the best trips my Family and I have taken Stayed in WearsValley at a great campsite Honeysuckle Meadows nice place.
Loved the “banjo” at 44:30.
Greetings from St. Augustine!! I love watching your videos, certainly including this one. In fact, this video absolutely convinced my why I never care to visit Gatlinburg. Holy cow!! Not my cup of tea, that’s for sure.
This place is fantastic. We were here for the second time me and my partner. The last time was July 2. 3. 4 we had a lot of fun
Rdy for some new content.
I’m looking for hiking travel App for my wife. I’m not very tech savvy.
Always a good show Robert 👍🏻
And thanks for the cooking show …….
AllTrails seems to be the best.
The other side of the park, the areas near Cherokee, NC are much less crowded! Mingus Mill, a demonstration pioneer farm, and oh, an Elk herd there. The National Park campground was very nice - water but no hook-ups or sewage. Good restrooms. We had our 5th wheel plus a generator when we went. Lots to see including wild turkeys. The hiking trails seemed a little steeper than I expected but still do-able for someone not in great shape. There is a nice little river too. There also is the town to explore Cherokee Native American culture.
Awesome videos. Love the music and lyrics!
On your way through the NC mountains, you should try checking out Wiseman's View in the Lynnville Falls area. The views from this lookout are amazing. Safe travels and thanks for the content!
Let us hear the stream Robert, thanks. Nice waterfall!
It truly amazes me how far away you can see clingman dome from where you was at
This is a wonderful area to visit. Rainbow falls is much harder than rated. Alum Cave to Leconte has great views.
