BreakingLimits//SickJamButter I saw many vids of hard landings and people complaining plus I cant trust on a 5 pound seat when it comes to maintenance. Qantas has more accidents than Ryanair ? Wow, that is shocking. Do you have any link where I can read ?. Ryanair has one of the most modern flets and this helps surely on the incident rating, But Delta has been flying for much more time, back in the days where airliners werent as fail safe as a 738s are. I never flew Delta. Given the facts of Alaska Airlines accident in the 90s is enough to me. A company reconverted into low cost carrier that tripled the maintenance intevals on their MD80s. Of course this can happen in any airline, but if there is a "better" option, I would stick to it. If they had little accidents, probably has something to do with Boeing quality, reliability and high automation (installed in a 40 year old proven airframe) rather than Ryanair itself. One operator (dont remember now) is near bankrupt because their Embraer Fleet use GE engines and they started to have issues all around that doubled the costs of engine maintenance till the point they start to loss money and they blame GE because engines show defects as they got old. GE acknoledge the engine aging problem. Making an airline proffitable is a TIGHT FIT and just because issues on the engines, an operator was almost bankrupt. On the other hand you see videos of 707 flying up to 2015 which is insane but ... is all about maintennance and common sense. They lowered the FL by the amount required because the a was fatigued. a 40 year old aircraft that flew EVERY DAY. Scary, isnt it ?. No probs, they got and incident but no fatalities flying 3 museum grade planes.
I'll never seen this before see 13:30sec. How amazing of this isn't? So what is this place in Germany Random Elevator Tour video, is so cool to find!!! My family live in here, I am! ^_^
The reason you were not able to ride the STN train back is that it only takes arriving passengers to the terminal. If you were to go back on it you would have to go through the UK border to go to the landside part of the terminal and then reclear security (and pay another visit to the shops) to get back to the departure lounge. The Department for Transport (UK government) requires all outgoing passengers to be kept separate from arriving passengers (some parts of Heathrow T3 don't comply but are allowed to continue) and that all outgoing passengers clear a DFT security approved screening. I have been on a Ryanair flight that departed from the boarding area which was served by the 2nd stop on the airside train. It would have been easier for STN to make all passengers enter this part of the airport via the bridge rather than extend the train (it used to only go from the terminal to the 1st stop. I suspect it happened when STN was trying to be the 2nd LHR (and funded by LHR passengers). The train maintenance depot is at the NE end of the terminal (the opposite direction from the one you went in).
It is the same- however there is a tunnel that you can use to get back to T5A without having to negotiate with a member of staff. Guide to the tunnels: goo.gl/uGKm0k
+Beno wow, these tunnels look like they're lots of fun! If you take Speedbird (callsign for BA) to Hamburg, you'll finally get the opportunity to ride the transit train and also explore these EPIC tunnels! you can add the video link to my tour now. Its my latest video.
Moritz Velten the Heathrow terminal 5B 5C transit train. Its airside so you need to be booked on a departure from T5 to get to this transit train. BA uses T5 for several destinations, including Hamburg.
I think someone at Temple Lifts had been to Disneyland and thought "if we can put the thrill of the Twilight Zone ride into Tower Bridge we could make some serious money. In fact we could save money by just not bothering to maintain the lift properly, and the exciting lift drop will just happen." Then four years later "we give some thrill seeking tourists the ride of their lives, and now we have to cough up 100k to give to them!". A testament to how bollocks some of these industry leading companies are.
About the airport transit train you could have said you got on it by mistake and ended up where you didn't want to be then you might have got away with it
Aww, so sad the hospital elevators has been modded. I really loke the modern-futurustic design they used to have. It looked looked like they were made in 2005 rather than in the 80's.(Yes, I have filmed them and my lift tour is live since long ago.)
there is really almost only one innerdoorless lift in Jakarta (I don't know, I went in one which I thought was awsome since that was the first time) It was actually piece of crap
Couldn't agree more about stansted...
Ryaniar .... WOW, that was brave, surfin lifts is more secure for sure.
