Nowhere faces, you're not my babylon sharp kid ambulance all of them. I loved accident and emergency. Justv as much as (come on, join) the high society
Julian and Boag are the best. My favorite band as young teenager. I was 14 and hooked on these animal men. All my mates love them still. I own 3 copies of come on join HS
Yeah, great show .I loved TAM...fantastic energy.. especially after suffering the musically lettuce wristed 80s, what a breath of fresh air.. they looked great too ! You're Always Right is a beautiful track..and Too Sussed is like an explosion in a firework factory.. interesting about Boag playing with his brother's band and bring all that experience with him. Thanks for the show , have a great day, everyday x
I could write an essay here..This lot live were mental.. We were Mods on our scooters and they were the kick in balls we were looking for.. Wrote lyrics that meant something to ya and we related to.. A friend of mine once described them as “Intelligent Aggression “ Fav tracks ?to many to pick from.. Erm.. I’m still To Sussed to be and the high society are still pushing up the anti soul with a false identification.. ( That’s named a few tracks ) Great time, great band. Cherished memories. Saw Mo Solid Gold supporting Ocean Colour Scene too. Excellent interview, good to see ‘em still about.
I worked down stairs from Globeshine, their mgmt. company. I got to know their manager Matt Willis really well; cool bunch of guys! Saw them at Water Rats in 1993.
Let us know your favourite These Animal Men tracks, albums, gigs? 🤘🏻
it was a bonus going to see Carter USM only to find out in the queue outside that These Animal Men were supporting .....
@@johntollervey that is a bonus for sure!
The first album is the best imo, River boat Captain is good.

Thanks for sharing your memories! This band meant a lot to the 'sharp kids' back in the day and rightly so!
Would love a TAM t-shirt. I know they've drawn a line under the band, but I'm sure there's demand
Didn’t they say they had some under their beds?!
Great show guys. Wilko Johnson of Dr. Feelgood fame, who used to practice his guitar in a narrow hallway, I think died a couple of years ago. R.I.P.
He did indeed 🤘🏻
Good interview.
Thanks for watching! 🤘🏻
What Boag and Julian didn't say was that Speed King was originally called 10-speed King ,written after bingeing on Syd Barrett's "I've got a bike"....
I’m hoping that’s tongue in cheek
Its not rock'n'roll its the sound of youth
🤘🏻

Water Rats, what a venue!
