I lived in Australia for many years.. have lived in America have been in Europe for nearly 2 months.. there is no place like India . Other countries have their own advantages and disadvantages.. there is no perfect place.. I know India is not the best place to be maybe.. but still its home and we are not outsiders here.. as an Indian you won't feel great in any other country.. I felt out of place in most countries outside India.. and normally people of developed countries look down upon Indians.. be grateful .. India is a great country and its getting better.
I used to feel like yiu in my teen age.. then after leaving India, I realized how great my own Country is.. yes its bad and dirty.. but its still my Home, my people my land.. outside India I can make lot of money but its lonely and empty and I will feel meaningless.. There may be many friends with big Bungalows.. yiu can hangout there as a guest and enjoy .. but even if its a small hut its still yiur own home and it's heaven even if it stinks. Yiu are the boss in your house and outside you are just a visitor even if you become a citizen. That's why we say Home is Heaven. India is my Heaven. You will realize what yiu have only when yiu loose it.. those Indians who left India and are living abroad will understand what I mean.. and India is the best place even if its not yiur home. .. its home for all Humanity.. ITS THE CRADLE OF CIVILIZATIONS .. It used to the INDIAN DREAM before the American or any other dream.. people came here and plundered it .. even now we are back on our own feet ONLY because of our Culture and Religion.. Many American and Europeans are choosing India as the best place to migrate.. its really 5 star for people with money.. India is for everybody.. its 5 star even for a popper like me.. so don't judge India now.. live another 20 years and yiu will know how great it is.. but you probably should live outside India for A few years to understand that.
Everyone can’t for obvious reasons, but don’t question if someone is leaving for a better quality of life. It’s completely ridiculous. We live in a democracy and we have a right to leave.
Sis, don't think too much. Just keep the fire ignited inside you and always strive to become more independent day by day. You will surely achieve your inner desires. ✍
Girl, I'm the same age as you and pretty convinced that the universe never truly gives one what they desire. I live abroad, make good money and have a promising career ahead but unlike you I come to an empty house at the end of the day; have no one to share my highs and lows with and life feels bleak. I have a loving family back home but due to the sheer distance, cannot meet them often; the western world lays extreme emphasis on hyper-individuality and while it has its upsides- it can still be very isolating at times. At the end of the day, life is all about trade-offs; I'm trading my familial connections for career/ambition while you are for the vice versa. Nonetheless, I hope you get what you're looking for. Cheers.
It's good that you're aware of these issues and concerned about them. However, what's even more important is whether you've tried to address them within your capacity. Leaving the country is not the solution. If your own country isn't in a good state, believe me, no other country will truly respect you. They may see you as someone who abandoned their roots. Sooner or later, you'll realize that running away doesn't solve the problem. My words may seem harsh or contrary to your views, but they are grounded in my own experiences of living abroad.
Not really true, it’s your own choice to leave things behind and move on. It’s not your duty to change how others live, we live in a democracy. No one will question you when you upgrade your lifestyle. Its selfist and at some level jealousy to question if someone is chasing a better quality of life.
Well if you are settling in a foreign country that's a good decision, india me bohot drame hai, pollution bohot jyada hai, population par koi control nahi, politician development ko chodd ke har chiz par baat karenge, traffic system bohot bekar hai, peace of mind nahi hai, Employer always harras you to give 2-3 hours extra for work, Badhiya infrastructure nahi hai, public transport overcrowded hai, as per report 4300 rich indians even virat kohli leave india permanently, ab krte rahiye patriotism
India's politics is not dissimilar to other counties, many democratic countries have similar issues. You can find more hatred to others, than in India.
Neighbour was trying to protect you, its not really Nosy, they feel for you and mean no harm to you. I think you havent lived in foreign country for a long time, here the neighbours dont even recognise you, even after staying for several years, in case of emergency even if an ambulance has arrived at your place, the neignbour wont even bother asking you. Just saying - I am not an Indian citizen, I am British. Rest all problems you mentioned are right, but those arent there if you live in Tier1 Indian city in a big gated complex. The positive points you mentioned about India are right. I think you have got an FOMO after watching a lot of travel bloggers, you are still young at 26, you can first write down what all things you havent seen in India and start exploring those first, as when it comes to tourism, no other country can beat India in terms of historical tourist spots.
Neighbour was not trying to protect my sister. He was trying to see if my sister meets with any guy or not. And this in my opinion is very nosy. And I am not saying that I am dying to leave india, it was a thought of me few years back. So I just shared that.
Tier 1 cities still have issues of chaos and noise pollution. People are nosy here as well. I can say that who has been born, brought up and living in tier 1 cities only. Mentality here still sucks. Both men and women aren't safe here. Women are judged if something happens with them. So many false cases on men, no gender neutral laws. I can go on and on and on...
@@Deepalidet My neighbour has been so nosy he has asked if my sister living in a different city has a boyfriend, what type of accommodation she lives in, who she lives with, when is she getting married, between us siblings who'll get married first, when will we get married, whether I've breakfast (if I lose weight), what I do, what our business turnover is. All of this in a so called tier 1 city. I can feel you. I feel uncomfortable walking in my own terrace because of him and now wear earphones and pretend as if I didn't hear him when he tries to say something.
This is a very grass is greener on the otherside perspective on immigration.I hope you get to live abroad a couple of years and taste the freedom and financial independence then please do share how much of the stuff you have covered here is real and how much of it is marketing by NRIs and immigration agencies mixed in with universities and companies seeking cheap skilled labour from india. There are many grants, scholarships and fellowships for young talented individuals like yourself abroad whether be it eastern nations or western one's all immigration is not a 50 lakh ruppees loan based 2 year masters degree vacation followed by 30 years of hardship paying EMIs of educational loans.
I also don't like the old thought process & interference of people in my life so I left my native place 21 years back. But leaving ur country is a big decision so before leaving u have to research all the ground reality.

Seriously I never see any westerners talking about there country and how great it is, people can see what is great and what's not. I get so embarrassed over these. People have mindset of gundas People will never protests against development but will protests over hindu Muslim things. There are so many things that can be mention here If someone adhabhakt and jeet gets hurt by these truth. And hopefully someday find a girl who doesn't know English so her brain is not Rotten with western stuff and live a peaceful life. I really really respect people who doesn't speak English. I learnt Spanish and a little bit of Polish, I'll be more than happy to learn any foreign language to communicate with that person than communicating in English. I rarely came across self aware mature and introverted girl like u and we would definitely be friends but well sadly its a RUclips comment 😅

Depends on how much money you have?

Plain and simple...
Backward or Forward you don't change your mother
Indians who can leave have left or will leave, others don't leave India due to personal reasons or because they cannot
I left India in 2023
