I love the song. It is hauntingly beautiful in a way that is hard to explain. It also puts her vocal versatility on full display. The lyrics are positive and spiritually potent (as usual). She really is such an intellectual creative. Like you can tell that she reads widely and sees knowledge as a source and means of mental and spiritual edification...just by listening to her music and watching the videos. Her ability to produce work that "slaps"/sound good but also provides food for thought is unparalled in reggae. She is one of the best at that hands down. (Thy will is my favourite song of hers but this is now a close second)...Plus, she seems to care about the welfare/wellbeing of the vulnerable among us, particularly children. Through her music and candour, she has inspired us all to find beauty and strength in vulnerability while making what will become timeless bangers. She so deserves the even greater success that is about to come her way. I love seeing people who are overcoming what was meant to kill them win--and win audaciously. It provides immense inspiration because it is a constant reminder of what is possible when you keep pushing and never give up. (Rest/take breaks, yes. But keep moving forward!
