This album is massive! Loved Resident Human and the growth with Charismatic Leaders is very apparent. What really stood out is the production and the amount of heavy breakdowns (something missing entirely before), simple yet dynamic changes (like using different snare tones in single tracks), and James’ growth as a singer ( the chorus of Saboteur). Amazing album. Appreciate the upload!!
The lyrical content throughout this album really hit home for me. An example is the line from Empire “Framing the other side as everything that you despise”. I have struggled mightily with this very thing. And though James has said he was referring to media empires it still spoke to me and my judgements of others.
