That F instead of an E on the recapitulation of the first theme is really evident. But, I love his performance. Close to perfection! I love how clear the notes were played! Bravo!

None of these Chopin contest videos are edited. This video is the result of a world class pianist playing a very expensive piano. The sound recording equipment used was likely state of the art as well. Start practicing the piano 5 hours a day for 10 years and save up enough to buy a Yamaha S-Series piano and high end sound recording equipment, and then you will sound like this video.

@@davidenalini8371 exactly Beethoven once said that playing a wrong note is insignificant but playing without emotion is inexcusable, and honestly it wasn't even terribly noticeable he just fat fingered and hit the high F more than the E.
I heard it but IDC because this dude still got 5th anyway. Also, playing wrong notes is common in performing even with professionals. I can say that because I am a musician too
