I’ve definitely been in a reading slump lately. Last book I finished was Pen Pal a week and a half ago. 😬🥴 Maybe, I’ll do a read-a-thon to get back on track.
How was Pen Pal? I’ve seen it in the horror section at Barnes and Nobles and I have been curious about it.

So glad you liked "The Wisteria Society," and yes, it is ridiculous and fun in the best way. The third book in the series is coming out in early April!

My thoughts on Sarah J Maas books are basically what you said in the beginning; I have no feelings for them. Like, they are not bad by any means but it’s like there are other books I would rather read than those books.

I was so excited to hear your friend was reading the Rangers Apprentice series! I have met very few people who have heard of it. I’m currently on book 9 of the series. It’s so good I hope she continues to read the series. You’ve also convinced me to buy The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels!

I have tattoos for it, 3 shelves on my bookshelf dedicated to it, & my friend and I are hosting a readathon readalong all year. I can't wait for you to finish the series! Book 10 is one of my favorites (and I def recommend picking up the companion series too!) ❤

I love reading graphic novels and mangas soo much. I am planning to read The Tea Society next month since I am almost done with The Girl Form the Other Side series. I have two books left on my March tbr to read (Kingdom of the Wicked & Eva Evergreen Semi-Magical Witch). I heard Eva Evergreen Semi-Magical Witch is similar to Kiki's Delivery Service so had to check it out. I actually got A Curious Beginning Book 1 on my Kindle for free due to Kindle Points so I put that on my April tbr list. Always great to see a vlog and great reading!

Well done on reading 9 books over the weekend! I read Wisteria Society last year and really enjoyed it - yes it is completely bonkers but so much fun! I have the second book as well, but haven’t read it yet. If you like slightly bonkers books, you might enjoy Jasper Fforde’s Thursday Next series - the first book is called The Eyre Affair. It is an older book (I think the first one was published in 2001). Set in an alternate United Kingdom, Thursday is a literary detective, Miss Haversham makes an appearance, there is a fun mystery, bonkers inventions, cloned pet dodos, lots of shenanigans and lots of book related jokes! I also recently finished reading the Spy x Family series of manga, looking forward to Vol 9 being released (June in Australia).

I would love to dive more into the graphic novel format (I've read three last year and loved it) but I just have so many other books on my tbr already 🤧

It also took me a RIDICULOUS amount of time to read both of the Crescent City books and I agree with you! We gotta read 90% of the book to get to anything worthwhile and honestly it makes me sad! But I’m also excited for the next one, strictly for the crossover lol

9 books is crazy. I'm currently still trying to finish rangers book 1. I had surgery beginning of the month and and thought I would do a lot of reading during recovery but that hasn't been the case. My stack of library books has been haunting me but I just haven't felt like reading anything.
oh my gosh i hope you’re recovering quickly and doing well! and i feel, basically every time i have a period of time that i could read a lot of books in i never feel like reading :// but that’s okay! i hope you’re passing the time doing something you still enjoy!

I enjoyed the video a lot. The 48h Readathon was a nice idea. I admit that you read a lot of books. I was just wondering… if you listen to audio books. At what speed do you listen to them. I do it at 2x when reading the paper book at the same time and 1.5x without a real book. But English is my third language as I’m from Belgium and I speak Dutch as my first language and French is my second one.
At the moment I do read the following Mangas: Death Note, Chainsaw Man and I have ordered the first 5 omnibuses of Attack On Titan. Not the happiest and joyfully genres one can choose.
As for books I’m reading “Remarkably Bright Creatures” by Shelby Van Pelt (a great book) and a large and heavy French book regarding computer games, Namely “The History Of Point and Click Games” (Histoire du Point and Click).

I love manga and graphic novels. You should read spy x family vol 9 that came out Tuesday. Also you should read Haikyu it's a sports manga. I think that you will end up liking it. I still need to finish House of Sky and Breath I have about 200 pages left of that one. Love the vlog and Hi cass
