Randall, just wanted to let you know that AFSI is a CAT subsidiary. They are not affiliated with Donaldson. The filters they produce are solely CAT filters. They are designed, engineered, and produced by CAT employees.
As a joint venture of Caterpillar Inc. and the Donaldson Company, Inc., AFSI produces top quality filters for engines using highly automated and computer-controlled procedures. One of AFSI´s main priorities is the health and safety of employees and this is why we focus on candidates who share these values. In order to achieve the highest possible level of quality and production efficiency we use a process where improvements in products and procedures are constantly underway. An integral part of the process is the high level of commitment we receive from our employees, who we support through constant training and development. From: www.afsifilters.com/careers
Thank-you, I never used any other brand filter on my Cat Always Yellow on Yellow or be a Dirty fellow. Please share info on how to spot knock off duplicate or copy of cat filters.
I run a 2014 D6T LGP at a landfill and I can tell you the engine air filter capacity is WAY TOO SMALL!! This is a strong dozer but the small air filter is horrible. I can also tell you that air filters WILL cause problems with regeration systems!
The info on design and material choices in this video is more useful than most "how it's made" videos.
