Fantastic content. I've already watched 5-6 videos about this plugin, but yours was the best. Not only do you cover almost all of the features, but the time you spent actually playing the instruments with your beautifully nimble fingers was very inspiring. You are a maestro and have demonstrated just how good this plugin can sound (with the right touch). Thanks.
I just bought the Evolution Complete Bundle during the 2023 Summer buy-in sale. Been bing-watching videos in an attempt to learn the Evolution engine. Yours are the best by far.
I think the original samples were not finger picking style. Because although all the pick noise have turned off, I still hear lots of pick character in those samples, especially in high note of high strings. Bare finger would produce much softer attack. So I think they sampled it with pick or hybrid picking at least.
Incredible sound. I would like to know if alternate tunings are allowed. If I remember correctly, AmpleSound guitars can be tuned one tone up/down thus disallowing tunings like BDDDDD. Would the BDDDDD tuning be possible with the Orange Tree Samples Evolution engine?
Really appreciate your nice guitar playing and singing of the beginning verse of Shallow (from the movie A Star Is Born) ! Question: If I want to play songs like that, or even delicate ballads, which guitar sound library would be most suitable? I'm looking at 1) OrangeTreeSamples Evolution Songwriter, 2) Musiclab RealGuitar 6, 3) AmpleSound Guitar (maybe AGL), 4) Native instruments Session Guitarist Picked Acoustic, or 5) Pianobook MG Soft Nylon Guitar. Which would be your top one (or two) for delicate guitar playing?
Orange tree and amplesounds for live guitar play. I prefer orange tree for live playing. Music labs real guitar/lpc/strat 5’s are the best for guitar programming...you can just about literally get the guitar to do everything a pro can do in any genre!
@HIFIMIDI I'm looking for an acoustic that would fit in context with the jazz archtop with prominent piano and funk bass, but I'm a little concerned about picking the right guitar that won't overpower everything in the mix OR be too easy to overpower. Plus I'd like strumming and melodic playing as well. Which of the libraries would you say is most fitting and versatile?
synchronizerman AGM hands down. It has the a finger and strum library included. It has a middle of the road sound. Not heavy like the Gibson SJ200, nor bright like the Taylor 414ce. You can request a 7 day trial from their site.
HIFIMIDI Oh, Orange Tree Samples is having a big sale, so I could get one of their guitars for about $47. Is AGM really better on every front? Amplesound always sounded kind of like fake Windows MIDI to me. Maybe it's because there are no built-in effects? I don't really have anything but guitar rig. hmm I guess you'd similarly recommend one of the ample basses over the orange trees?
It's not finger picking on "songwriter" is picked single notes. That's the main differentiation between "songwriter" and "steel strings"s, as said so by Orange Tree Samples.
Bigricky06 I have tried hummingbird. The GD-6 is meant for strumming, I believe. This is meant more for finger style playing. OTS has one called Flatpick Six, which is also meant for strumming.

Crystal clear and natural acoustic sound.😍

sounds astounding! thanks for your video, by far the most helpful for this specific plugin
Great review. Nashville tuning is where the EADG strings are the octave strings of a 12 string guitar whilst the B and E are regular strings.
Great singing. Wow.

Evolution Songwriter or Evolution Boutique Acoustic ?
Did you decide? Same here, not sure what to get.
@@JeremiahWept I bought Evolution Boutique Acoustic
@@vcodev108 Do you get the strumming working properly and sound like real strumming? Thanks
Very good voice!!!!
Thank you so much I was going to get Ample now I'm not sure :) Great video

you can control the direction of the strum by draggin the pick down and the end point up
Thank you. I should spend more time with it. But just like money, I don’t have much of it!
@@hifimidi you're welcome but it's not a feature you need anyway lol... unless you want to program it.
OMG!! How did you program that great singin‘??? 👍👌 I love your videos and now this! Really amazing! Respect!!! Greetings, Arpad
Wonderful Review❤️And Great Singing 🐼

So in what way is this better than Steel Strings or Flatpick 6?

What the best OTS library for strum?
Flatpick 6. Though it takes some work to get it just right.
Orange tree samples website has the demos for each guitar with strumming in them. I think songwriter works great for strumming too.✌🏾
is this better than acoustic samples guitars like the GD-6 or the hummingbird?
Bigricky06 I have tried hummingbird. The GD-6 is meant for strumming, I believe. This is meant more for finger style playing. OTS has one called Flatpick Six, which is also meant for strumming.
Bigricky06 Which is better is subjective. All have great sounds, but they operate differently.
Thank you for answering. Audio plugin deals is running an insane deal on acoustic samples so i wanted to get you input before i buy.
Is it really better than Ample guitar m3?

Merci beaucoup
