- With all my love and respect, it's a great placer to me can give life in an animated video to the characters with what I grew up.
This animation is inspired by the original series of She-Ra (Mattel-Filmation) and accompanied with the new song of the new version from Netflix.
She-Ra and the princesses of power, is a series that updated Noelle Stevenson and produced by DreamWorks Animation for Netflix.

While the colors look weird, but the bodies look more defined. Like they balanced the rounds and sharps that I can see the muscles, and the chins looked more chiseled. Good work.

I’m really into the mix of Classic and 2018 character designs
It is an interesting job of redrawing the original version. I appreciate that in the end Shera seems to be more friendly with Catra. It's funny to think that at the beginning Hordak was meant to be a new he-man villain and that Catra should have been the real leader of the horde. She was designed at first in pink on comic books. But alas, the toy seller bring the idea to try to sell Hordak with the new Shera and braught back Catra to the role of Captain Force. She was also redrawn in red with a more agressive look to make her a more obviously villain. Sincerely I like the original version and the reboot, and I like your job between those two versions. Maybe we shall have a second reboot ? But first Shera deserves a movie !!!
I do enjoy the character designs in both, though personally I'd find a perfect balance and take what worked visually and what didn't
Nice. If the new show felt more like the original i grew up on like you have presented rather then the outright rejection of it i might have been the shows biggest fan as ive been obsessed with she-ra and he-man my whole life.
Well the new show is still amazing, if you can get past the designs and visual style I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy it

I really wished people would stop hating on the new reboot. The old she-ra certainly has it's benefits, and is a good show in it's own right, but you don't need to praise it by dragging the new one down. Honestly, I prefer the story in the new one, but the old she-ra was charming and funny.

@@Smashboi76 Exactly! Their criticism is very superficial. Of course, this show has it's flaws, and valid criticisms can be made, but all I'm seeing is a lot of veiled misogynistic comments about why She-ra doesn't have boobs and that it's the end of femininity.
@@Smashboi76 I’ve seen many criticisms about the story, its many plot holes, wasted characters, wasted episodes, thing being rushed, arcs, not explaining things, characters being off model a lot, it’s terrible continuity etc

Honestly I prefer the classic She-ra and the only thing I liked from Netflix version was the intro song. So combining the two is really great!

I really wish English had words to distinguish between different types of reboot (like some reboots are just simple re-designs of the characters, fixing minor mistakes, and otherwise just continuing where the last one left off, kinda like clone highs gonna do, where as some are a total reworking of the entire characters and premise, like the new shera)
Somehow I can tell who everybody is despite their changes
This would have improved the newer cartoon a thousand fold!

@@janette2691 alright, first I'm gonna say thanks for not having your complaints be about character designs not giving children boobs. With that put of the way I believe your first complaint is about the writing which, is fair, how we feel about that is subjective. As for villains most of them are simply victims of they're upbringing, the main ones being Hordak, Catra, and Scorpia. If you want truly evil ones the show has Shadow Weaver and Horde prime. And bland protagonist, I feel like I could use some more details on that one before I form an actual response to it
