Awww I'm so happy to see this reaction ! I've been following Big Ocean since before their debut, I like them a lot. Their songs are just so heartwarming and the members just seem so sweet and genuine. They really hold a special place in my heart 🥰 I hope you'll check out their other songs as well, I'm sure you'll like them 😊
I found Big Ocean on the day of there debut and instantly fell for their charms. I interpret for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the states, so they hold a special place for me. Day6, are my Ult bias in Kpop, so when I found out about this collab I was so looing forward to it, and I was not disappointed. The song is soo good.
Okay, so I’m a regular in their TikTok lives and they’ve answered quite a few questions that might be of interest. Their main vocalist (Hyunjin) has used muscle memory to train his voice to hit the right pitches, and he has about 40% hearing loss with his implants/aids. The others have similar losses, but Hyunjin is the best at speaking English about the harder topics (Chanyeon is also very good with English, but sometimes the questions are a little beyond the scope of what he knows). I haven’t had a chance to ask them how this collab came about yet, but I hope to. I did get to ask about their experience meeting Felix (and Changbin) of Stray kids and they’ve all expressed that they really admire Felix.
You reaction also was beautiful as well as the song ✨ Thank you! I'm glad you searched them up and knew of their unique history, I'm sure it added to the first impression and experience ^^ The song is also written by YoungK I believe, I'm glad you liked it!
Yay, a Big Ocean reaction! Was hoping that more people would check them out. I only heard of them after the Young K collab was announced and searched them up, too, and was likewise really impressed. Their story is very inspiring, and it's time for some more inclusivity in K-pop. I think they have 2 other singles out, and those are more upbeat than this, but also really good songs.
