    You sure have some very nice rifles! Good shooting, I rarely get beyond 50 with mine, i must try it beyond that, the .22 is so much fun.

      freedomofabird Hello buddy , thanks the .22 was my first firearm rifle and it has taken quite a lot of vermin in its life it still has its original factory barrel but I've had recrowned years ago as well as putting it in a laminated stock and it still shoots really well. Later on this year hopefully a new rifle build will be ready though this new one will be my biggest calibre and hopefully my last lol but i am still very excited. Have you done much shooting lately 👍

      GianniG That should be interesting! I get out lamping, and early morning/late evenings but not much time for plinking at the mo, I've had very busy week!
      I'm hoping to get out tomorrow with a Bullseye Camera system I have been asked to trial. I may make a video around that.
      Keep up with the videos i enjoy them!

    Good idea: I never thought of using the median strip as a range!

      GianniG I was kidding about the traffic sounds....envisioned getting 100 yd range out on a highway median strip.

      @GianniG55  4 года назад

      Lol oh I see sorry yeah unfortunately there is a road that goes passed the grounds that I shoot as I tend to shoot from one corner up towards the hill but the mic on the camera picks up the noise.

      I also got the same cz make as yours with sak suppressor but just the basic stock, it’s a very-accurate rifle and I also take foxes out with it over a 100 yards with subsonic ammo, it’s a great little vermin tool

    • @GianniG55
      @GianniG55  6 лет назад

      Yes they are great little rifles for the money and those 40g subs can pack a pretty good punch on a good range of vermin . 👍

    • @darkshaman7087
      @darkshaman7087 6 лет назад

      GianniG I find the Winchester subsonic one of the quietest ammo, people do slag to .22 lr off but they would be surprised by the damage that they can cause, it’s a deadly little round I also got the beretta extrema mk1 shotgun those 3 1/2 inch cartridges don’t half pack a punch

    • @GianniG55
      @GianniG55  6 лет назад

      Yeah they are deadly alright the one main disadvantage of them though is they are prone to ricochets so they do require a decent backstop but they are great the main ammo I use is the `Ely and I have a few left of the SMKs but I don’t think I can get them now which is a shame I really liked those. As for shotguns they have just not been my cup of tea to be honest but they can be fun.

    is there any of your vids were you avnt got the surpreser on the muzzle,just I will be using mine in a similar field except for a neighbour bordering one side of the 40acre bit of land.good vid mate

      Kevin Oliver all of my rifles have suppressors on them, I don't enjoy shooting with ear protectors that's why I have the moderators on them I have never lost out to velocity drop if that's what you think the issue may be but I haven't that to be a problem at all . Why do you not like shooting with a suppressor on?

    • @GianniG55
      @GianniG55  7 лет назад +1

      Kevin Oliver I know you don't know me and you don't need to take my word for my advice but I can tell you without any hesitation your hunting or any shooting for that manner will not be hampered by using a suppressor people are shooting way passed 1500 yards suppressed. Also you can get more shots off on multiple vervain when you have the chance. Hope this helps cheers G.

    I've got a CZ 452 varmint it loves the Lapua Midas, at the moment it has a cheap BSA 36X45 on it for 50 yard bench rest sub 0.25 at 50

    • @GianniG55
      @GianniG55  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Chris , I still think these rifles are ace and amazing with what you can do with them and so lovely and quite this was my first firearm to go on my ticket, it has a 14 inch barrel which only just sticks out of that stock inleted the opening so the suppressor would fit nice into the channel so it’s really nice and compact, I bet you love yours too lol.

    • @chris3383
      @chris3383 5 лет назад

      @@GianniG55 yes I do love it and it's the varmint has a fairly heavy barrel factory configuration walnut stock with a 20 inch barrel I also picked up a used Anschutz 1451 wood stock with a 22 inch medium barrel

    Hi gianni hope you are well mate. Fac on the way, love the Czech rim fires what's your set up?ideally after carbine with thumb hole!

    • @GianniG55
      @GianniG55  7 лет назад

      Big Nut Hunting Hi Big nut lol, hope your well too that Cz has a 14 inch barrel and is set in a Richard's microfit gun stock from the USA , the stock I think came with a 95- 99% fit but I ask for it to come unfinished so I could sand down and oil it myself. You can pick up some nice laminated stocks on the market today, the GRS laminated stocks look very nice which are fine for rimfires but need to be bedded if using a centre fire but there's definitely a lot on the market you can choose from. The Anschutz is pricey but well made and the Cz does come with thumbhole stocks what you getting a rim fire or centrefire ?

    • @TargetBreaker1234
      @TargetBreaker1234 7 лет назад

      GianniG cheers for the info! My perms are approved for rimfire, so ideally .22 as its a lot quieter than a .17hmr......cheaper ammo to!

      finally rec my certificates and went and bought a CZ455 TH with 16inch varmint barrel and wave tec mod. mounted my sidewinder and went to zero today. ran out of down elevation trying to zero at 50 yards. shooting 6 dots high still?!! cant figure it out? by the way where did you get your cocking bolt? cheers

    • @GianniG55
      @GianniG55  7 лет назад

      Big Nut Hunting Hi matey hope your well too, it might sound daft did you make sure the scope was set in the middle of its elevation? How high is the scope on the rail am sure that should be ok what rings and base have you got on it, is there any chance you could email me a pic of your new baby lol so I can get a better Visual of the rifle at this point I can only think the internal adjustment maybe had not been set to the middle my email is giannitime@hotmail.com . Oh yeah about the bolt nob it was from a online guy it was called AB-tactical I think, but they are no longer going . If your bolt arm is solid all the way to the nob end ie the ball end I should say then this can be machined down to 8mm thread and then there are loads of after market bolt nobs to choose from I think Dolphins custom rifles are all 8mm but the American ones are smaller thread pitch. Send us some pics cheers buddy 👍
