Maybe there wasn't enough time to show it, maybe the movie was getting too long or what ever. But I know this is how Prashant Neel uses these moments to excite the audience. I will guess how it unfolds cinematically with whatever I know of Neel . First sequence, Deva will somehow kill the guy who is going to slash him from behind. Then the camera will pan on other villains. They will be shown surprised and will stop their sword mid-way and run to kill Deva but he kills everybody.
