I'm so glad he says that the song isn't actually about the alcohol, despite what people might say the song is about. He says you don't have to drink to let loose and get on the dancefloor. When he says the song is about freedom, that is what he means. Leaving your inhibitions behind and just being yourself and having a good time 💚
I think it’s awesome he brings Finnish language and culture to the world. There were so many performers from Finland talking and singing English. It’s like this is his thing - to talk Finnish and sing Finnish🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮💙💙💙💙
The most down to earth person in Eurovision history. 💚 He puts spirit and fun above of fashion and superficiality. Just like Finns in general. Extremely proud of him. He became an true legend with his purity. Kiitos Käärijä, Suomi kiittää ja kumartaa. 💚🇫🇮
In the other interview Käärijä said that if Finland is going to win the song contest will be in Tampere. That would be so great... 💚 But anyway let's enjoy the show first and see what happens..! Remember to vote Käärijä! He defenately deserves to win. He's such a sweetheart. 🤩💚
"You mix a lot of different genres, how did you come up with this song?" The real answer from Käärijä should be: - Some time ago I was in youtube, and came across this German artist called Electric Callboy, and I though huh, so that seems to sell. I think I'mma go and steal that idea, and just in Finnish. Regards A Finn
Why is it so difficult to understand their not the same. Similar beginning but the song itself is in no way the same. Even Electric Callboy themselves have said this and they support and like Käärijä's Cha Cha Cha.
Of course it's a new composition, not a cover song. That's blatantly obvious. What I and everyone else saying this are trying to communicate, is that he 100% took the idea to mix industrial metal, techno and pop from EC. They were the ones who came up this "sound" or a new "sub-genre". The "fingerprint" of the sound is waaaay too similar to attribute "inventing" this style to Käärijä, or to pretend it's not just a bit tweaked version of the original. I've seen one concurrent thing with this debate - people who don't play any intruments, compose or know music theory, can't hear it. People who do, can. It's so obvious, even the haircut is a copy for goodness sake. It's kinda like Nightwish. They invented mixing metal with a female opera singer. Now there are a ton of heavy bands with bright high voiced female singers, but almost never are they opera singers. That's a nightwish singnature. If someone were to do that again, synth heavy, dreamy metal with a female opera soprano as the lead? Even if the songs were not Nightwish -covers, people would be saying they are copying Nightwish. Do you get what I'm saying?
@@NiVoldiza / LevelDica ... Käärijä has had the same haircut for several years ... and maybe your aesthetic outlook is different to mine, but I think it looks a lot better than the WIGS that were worn in the 2022 EC video. If a member of EC can literally say on Finnish TV "I don't think that the song is similar to 'We Got the Moves' ... the _beginning_ is not the same but similar and the song is completely different" then that should settle matters. And, BTW, that kind of techno bass line has been going at least since New Order used it in Blue Monday when I was a teenager in 1983, so at this stage it's a musical trope. We can just be grateful that EC are sensible and fair-minded Germans rather than litigious Americans, or they / their record company could spend the next 5 years ruining themselves in the courts. All music is mixed and shared at some level, according to the ages, anyhow ... maybe your counterpart in the '50s would have been complaining to anyone who would listen about Elvis Presley copying others who were genre-mixing rhythm & blues, gospel, country and boogie-woogie. In the '80s Aerosmith and Run-DMC combined rock and rap in "Walk this Way", which inspired still more musicians in the mixing and matching. Marilyn Manson in the '90s wove together glam rock, punk and industrial metal. It's all a great melting-pot of different elements - happens all the time. No one has a patent for any particular type of mix ... even Käärijä and EC's own portfolios shift and change, never being one kind of "fingerprint" as you reduced it to. "Cha Cha Cha" could be described as industrial metal fused with techno fused with rap fused with K-pop ... but his other tracks might bring to mind slightly or even completely different labels. Ultimately, if you like EC and you think they and Käärijä sound similar ... well, happy days! More music for you to enjoy! No need to launch into denigrate mode :)
