my uncle was a victim of Garissa Alshabab Attack...May his soul continue Resting in peace.😥
I thank God for saving my nephew 2gunshots but survived through God's love and mercy. He was among the few who where airlifted to KNH in a very critical condition. I can never forget what I saw that morning a whole ward full of injured students soaked in blood. At first we thot he was dead. And so many other dead bodies lying there...... I have never cried that much. Mungu ailinde kenya🙏🙏
From TikTok .

Extremely beautiful Girl i thank God for saving you
My friend also survived with major injuries bt she's doing good right now
Its so sad to learn that the attackers after carrying out the attack were storytelling waiting to be shot at...yaani mtu anajitolea kukufa ...what a weaked souls...you are strong girl..all the best
I also had a male friend who was mysteriously killed and his body found dumped in Ruiru river near Wakairo. The reason why i cannot forget him is that we once got drunk in our first year in campus and he pushed me behind and got a permanent bruise from the edge of the sink.Anytime i see the small bruise i always remember him.May his soul rest in eternal peace.
9 years later the pain is still fresh 😭😭💔, my friend and classmate died. Continue resting in peace Bry.
I lost my boyfriend 😢 it's still pain may they soul rest in peace

I, patience Mutava, our captain, may her soul rest in eternal peace, mercy and the likes of Juliet we had gone for football compe in KU and that was on wed, when we came back it was around 8pm so we prepared to have a cat which the other students had done.
Make you it rained so heavily but to our surprise there was no even a drop of water. So we wake in the morning, I, Esther and faith to go and fetch water only to find that there was no water. Coming back we went to the hostel and that how I had the bangs and we started running
Glad you are alive. How are you doing? Have you healed emotionally?

May the departed souls rest in perfect peace 😭😭 and may God comfort their families and to the Survivors may God give you peace of mind 🙏🙏🙏
Continue resting in peace Ale.
The attack happened a few days before i finished my final exams at UON, i was a redcross member and i volunteered at Chiromo mortuary as that is where most bodies were brought,. on the second day there i went in to counsel one family, together with a professional social worker before they could view the bodies of their loved ones coz as a social worker i could do that and let me tell you when it came to the viewing of the bodies, even I became weak, i only helped one family, and i had nightmares for the next i dont know how many weeks. it was bad bad bad. may the souls of the innocent students continue resting in peace.
I was at chiromo too. The identification process of the bodies should never be done that way ever. Most traumatic experience for relatives of the deceased. Who had to identify pictures on the wall and then go into different rooms to identify. I saw relatives collapse, breakdown, get too overwhelmed to search!!!
Lost a former school mate who was a students leader..may you keep resting in peace Laban
This was bad, hearing the story the fear and scare feels fresh.
The country has never recovered from this hostile experience

My college deskmate lost his cousin 😢
I was in Ewaso Nyiro hostel when that institution was ttc..I left in 2009😢
Soo sorry, we thank God saved you from that, my friend narrated to me how he survived, it was very narrow narrow escape with a wider scope of what happened as per what he saw and how he escaped and passed by the terrorist but he wasn't seen and then they jumped over and run away when everything was happening
We thank God for life.
Does anyone ever heal?
Yes, one does heal though it takes time. It's a process but eventually one will heal.
Surely God has purpose for you and the rest who servived
On that very day even to sky changed to.dark.....it was sad.
This is the reality of this religion
Just like what is going in Gaza, god of the bible doing genocide, killing innocent people.
Alshabaab is NOT a reflection of Islam! And I mean it as a Christian
K D F ❤❤❤❤
May God protect you abundantly for well done job

The response was very slow by the squad from Nairobi, why didn't they go by helicopter 😢 Congratulations to KDF for taking control of the situation, we salute you 🙏🏿🙏🏿
Unfortunately, they don't have their own helicopter on standby. Police Wing allocates the choppers. There is a story about the helicopter they could have used. It was away on a private flight. But Recce Squad was ready to go. They were delayed by this individual who directed the helicopter to private matters. The information is here on RUclips.
Thanks to her father he a dvised her while in hostel and in danger...Rip Alex
