Hi there! This backpack is great... we love it! It is very comfortable for long travel and backpacking adventures yes! The Axiom 5 system has a rotating hipbelt and ventilated back panel to keep you cool. It is highly reccommended for carrying substantial loads making it great for travel, wilderness trekking and backpackers who plan to carry for long distances. The Axiom 3 System has a simple back system and hip-belt. It's great for entry-level backpackers so probably not what you are looking for? Hope that helps :)
Not sure that I would recommend it, there are a lot of straps that could potentially get caught on things like conveyor belts. You could tie the straps up but that would be a bit of a fiddle. There are backpacks that are better suited for air travel, have you looked at Osprey backpacks. Clive
Front stuff pocket is for snow shovel! Right size! How to fit ski's, ice axe, crampons! Only alpine bags have that possibility!
Great Video, very helpful.
thanks I am glad it helped
