- This motovlog is a very special one. As I was travelling through Northern Ethiopia I crossed paths with an incredible man... and I'm sure the majority of you already know all about him! Lyndon Poskitt has been racing motorcycles since he was ten years old and In 2013 a nearly fatal training accident changed his perspective on life. He decided to quit his engineering job and start riding around the globe to race on each of the six populated continents. He's covered over 230,000km through 70 countries and raced in 11 competitions along the way... including Dakar 4 times!

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I'm raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. Hi Kinga, very interesting to see the wild scenery in Ethiopia. Please put the the "angle of your helmet camera" a bit higher, we often cannot see the buildings fully.
Lyndon has been a hero of mine for years. It is amazing that you have 3 times the number of followers here as he does now and even more than "adventurespec"
I thought Lyndon's channel was great when he was with Adventure Spec but since he left to go on his own both channels have suffered. IMHO of course.

Minor point for me, the camera on top of your helmet seems to be showing more of your helmet than the world around you. I realize you probably have reasons for the framing you have chosen. Nevertheless, keep up the good work and safe travel.

Its a big problem in poor countires... people are super friendly but you have to look out for your stuff, they will take the opportunity and steal your stuff if they can.

Nice interview. Tuktuks weren't in Africa when I rode through in 1995-6. Be careful not to get pelted with stones as you ride in Ethiopia. It is a fantastic country. Petrol was easier when I rode there.
I see your gloves work on your mobile phone. Have you modified the gloves or are they sold for the purpose? Usually dry leather will not operate the phones screen.
